(UPDATE: APPEAL GOT DENIED!) I Got Falsely Communications Banned Again on Xbox but for 1 Week…

Seems like I got falsely com banned again but for 1 week for the same reason that happened back in October 2023, activity feed. Weird thing is: I haven’t posted any text posts in months. The last time I did was on my birthday. Since the ban got lifted back in October 2023, I stopped posting “live on twitch” posts. Someone must’ve did an exploit on getting me falsely banned (if that’s still a thing) or false reported me. I think the strikes system needs to go because people are either abusing the report system or doing an exploit to get innocent players falsely banned. I hope the appeal gets approved so the bans get lifted. I didn’t do anything wrong!

Update: Unfortunately my appeal got denied 😩 (makes no sense since there were no details on what posts that were offensive). The duration of the ban is still in effect, 1 week. Seems like I have to wait till the upcoming Saturday to use any communication features

I think someone is just spam reporting your activity feed in that case. Submit an appeal and perhaps make your activity feed private. If you need to make your friends aware when you stream, post it, but then delete it later on to prevent any more reports. I’ve been banned many times, you sort of get used to it eventually. :(

Yeah, it sucks. I might have to make my activity feed to friends only because of that. I submitted an appeal, might take a while to see if it gets approved or not. Hopefully it’ll get approved

I deleted a couple of them but didn’t delete the rest because I didn’t have time. Last text post I posted was “Happy Birthday to me 🥳” which was posted on December 3rd, 2023 but that post is still up. Most of my old “live on twitch” posts are still up. The strike system really needs to go because it can be abused easily by bad people that want to get innocent players banned for no reason

@@ALovelyRaven There is properly no exploit, but i know more recently it was possible to use bots to report players account a LOT of times. Maybe that's what's happening.

I wish Xbox would fix their console, they don’t even look into any reports, and from my knowledge you’ve done nothing wrong, and just because you got reported with no evidence may I add they banned you. And didn’t even look into it, I love the console but I hate the report system.

Xbox really needs to do something about the false reports. This is the second time that I got falsely banned. The first time happened in October 2023 but the ban got lifted since the appeal was approved. They should also remove the strike system because people can abuse it a lot by false reporting innocent players for no reason
