This is an interesting one. While talking with Rich Eisen, Pat McAfee says he's not allowed to talk about Caitlin Clark anymore. Many think it's because ESPN told him not to. Let's talk about what happened and why people are blaming ESPN.. and if it's true or not!

McAfee show is from Indiapolis. Pat has season tickets to the Fever. He sits behind the left basket to the side with his wife. Matter of fact a lot of his employees are season ticket holders. CC has a boyfriend and a brother that keeps her up to date with things she needs to know about.

I think it is more the fact, that he does not talk about Aja, Angel, and any other players. He was being onesided, which he should, being fom Indiana and a season ticket holder of the Fever. The woke crowd at ESPN was upset by this.

I’ve watched since the 80s with Bird/Magic. It’s been along time but Caitlin seems like she’s better at the long passes.

I started watching Caitlin last year at Iowa because I follow Pat & he talked about her so we checked out her games & got hooked on her play style & have watched every one of her games since. Lots of people covered what Pat said about the “universe” but you did a great job summarizing why he said it & his true intent. The AW comparison was wild! Had not heard that she said that at the Olympics. The day he said it - my son sent me the clip & I loved it because I was so disappointed in how Caitlin was being treated by Carter & mainstream media & he was throwing it back at her haters that day. That’s why we love Pat - he keeps thing’s authentic. I guess guys calling chicks B is not cool to some & I get it but he apologized right away after recognizing it didn’t come across as he intended to many viewers. For him to stop talking about her has been really sad to me. He is in Indy, they have season tickets, she came on his show with her parents there too. I wanted to hear lots more of Pat’s takes on CC & the Fever. Anyone that knows Pat’s show knows he often does cross lines for mainstream people, but he’s just being funny with no ill intent. That’s who he is. He’s as much a comedian and hype man as a sports analyst.

Question: Who's a more nasty person based on their comments/ interviews...Pat McAfee or Geno? DP has too much class or maybe just a lot of patience, to call out Geno to his face. He certainly has done it indirectly since though with respect to Caitlin. McAfee was doing well for himself on his own. Going to "the universe" was just a strange move that he didn't need to do.
