i used to wear my positioning belt all the time BUT when i finally got a chair that fit me correctly, i never really used one after that. IMO if it feels like you're gonna fall out of the chair, it needs to be adjusted! but if ya have limited/no core function, a belt is probably a good idea - or even a chest harness - got a couple friends that use those :^)

Hey I wanted to see what your thoughts on something. Years ago I purchased a standing wheelchair from the standing company in Michigan. I chose to go Manuel instead of powered because it was an extra $6000. I have never gotten much use out of it because of the weight. It's made of mild steel and very heavy. This is my question what do you think would be the best way to power it. I've got a quantum chair that I'm not using any longer but is in good shape. I also have a plain electric chair that has a regular seat on it that I could use the motor out of. What's your thoughts? Thanks
