There's no indication yet regarding what subway line will get them. From what I heard, the Staten Island Railway will be first since they have the R44s

Since the 80s all of the subway cars have came from overseas they are shipped on a boat not the point the partnership to any build here yeah I want to all the technology old is Wi-Fi this is what happens don’t wanna complain just deal with it

While that cool,I'll wait until the OMNY fare card. Pretty slow delivery for the OMNY Vending machines. Not particularly enthusiastic about having the MTA involved in my banking institutions affairs. Not convinced about how closed the source is.

Better leave my R46s alone,dude. Those cars are beastmode..they have performed YOEMAN service since the rebuild. Like I said before, KAWASAKI HEAVY should be building those cars,here And Japan. What's going on over in KAWASAKI Railcar, is straight nonsense. From the information I have ,the amendments to the build and delivery of the new cars First primary order...is the MTA is hard pushing for the delivery of R211A production cars in December now. The 211T are all built,but DELIVERY IS THE ISSUE HERE. Once again, the 211A Primary Contract has plenty of cars to be sent out, but sending them out is the problem, due to issues with the builder. However, the cars that were supposed to be sent,will be sent in November, such as the 211T. The SIR test equipment is slated for delivery in February, now. KAWASAKI is also having major problems sending out LIRR M9/9A cars..which are also being built in Yonkers NY. The problem here is the MTA stuck with One builder with this contract, instead of using Alstom in NYS. Siemens was also available to produce cars for the MTA. KAWASAKI has operated in bad faith with the 211 contract, and then some. The Option order should have went to Alstom.
