You are The absolute only one who has Figured out The placing of The pump to the level of The bottom of The tank. There is no point really having it fixed to The Lid of The canister. Been wondering for a While howcome no manufacturer offer this.? The canister Lid could Also Be of a cone shape so no Air/gas could get trapped under it.

Regarding longevity ..I'm still using a Marineland Magnum 330 made in 87 that I purchased new in 1990 (age reveal) 😂🤣 Got it through my employer at the time NW Tropical fish hatcheries in WA state or used to be .In all this time the only thing I've had to replace has been o-rings and filter media of course but otherwise no issues and working fine .In the past I've used it as a full time filter for both saltwater and fresh but currently it's being used on a 55 gallon a heavily planted community tank mainly for the micron filter to occasionally "polish" the water .For full time filtration I'm using a Aqua-tech 30-60 hang on back filter .Regarding the design for the ADA ,I've never been a huge fan of having pipes being exposed on the side such as Eheim design .I've known many who've had theirs break due to tipping it over or accidentally hitting it but to each their own I guess .Having a wider base or outrigger legs wouldn't be a bad idea for some of these filters . I'm sure this massive ADA filter works well and for the price tag they ask ,they better .I've seen many saying they've seen these "stainless" steel canister filters with a bit of rust on the casing which shouldn't even happen .Perhaps those were knock offs but if not that doesn't bode well for their brand . While I'm sure it's a decent filter ,so much of this brand is about bling, appearance and bragging rights .

I bought the Cobalt EXT canister filer 3 years ago, comes with said pump. I have it on my 46 gallon bowfront and does a great job, quiet too.

Can you keep 1 Blue Ram in a10g
@rockfella273 жыл бұрын
Minimum Tank Size 20 gallons. German Blue Ram Habitat and Care : The German Blue Ram is recommended only for advanced hobbyists due to its finicky water quality requirements and desired habitat. It is critical to maintain good water quality for any fish system, but extra important to keep your German Blue Ram alive and healthy. Stick to a regular maintenance schedule and test your water quality regularly. In addition to exceptional water quality, this species likes to have plants to swim around, caves to hide in, and if you plan on breeding, flat stones for females to lay their eggs. Too many plants will hinder your fish's ability to swim freely and not enough caves may lead to unnecessary competition between cave-loving species. It is a delicate balance to create an environment where your fish has room to swim and safely hide. www.thesprucepets.com/german-blue-ram-fish-profile-5088724 Not recommended for 10g and not for beginners.
