Every morning after I've fed the animals and made my coffee, I turn on my computer to read my mail. I scan down the list, deleting those I won't read and starring the ones I want to save for later. If I'm lucky, there will be one notifying me of a new video from Mark. I open it immediately and watch. Why? I am in my late 70's, have major health issues and he is an inspiration. His honesty, integrity and strength are simply amazing. I am a cancer survivor and understand the decision he has made. I have come to love Mark and his family and have been praying for them since his diagnosis.

I do this ALL the time for small channels & even bigger ones that I really love. Why not? Sometimes I'll play vids on my cell while I'm watching KZbin & turn on something for my 4yr old on the smart tv. Someone is making money by us doing NOTHING! I'm so glad to see others doing this! Another thing I do: If I'm looking to buy something new online, say a Purple Mattress... I'll go to their website, then close that tab. Go back to youtube & click on whatever channel's video I want to help. Sure enough, the very next ad is Purple Mattress, so I click on the ad & make my purchase that way. I like every single video I come across & subscribe to any channel that's not completely against my morals, bc again, WHY NOT? I ran a blog for 4+ years & It amazed me how stingy people are, as if they're going to lose money, or street cred or something if they like, comment, subscribe, share, etc. ALL these things cost you nothing, maybe a millisecond of your day yet it can literally help families pay their bills. Why. The. F. Not?!

My husband had ALS/Lou Gehrig's and his brother had stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. They chose quality over quantity. We lived their lives to the fullest of their abilities. Our daughter battled breast cancer and our daughter-in-law battled thyroid cancer the same year my husband had ALS. The ladies are still going strong! Be as comfortable as you can be. I am a nurse of many years, never felt I was capable of hospice nursing. However my best nursing friend died here in my home on November 7, 2019. I was so impressed with the hospice service. I spent 29 years in nursing at UCLA medical center. I’ve seen it all. For me, the most important take away is that handling whatever situation life throws our way... is thee most important aspect. How we behave and react is so important. Making the most of each day should be done by everyone, every day!! But being given a dire diagnosis and still maintaining and enjoying loved ones as well as Mother Nature around us is thee best way we can live, and I applaud you, young man!!! Hey there Mark! I just wanted to let you know how very much you are missed by not only me but by everyone on your channel. We all grew to love and care about you and your beautiful family. I personally want to thank you for sharing your journey with us, the good and the bad. I am a cancer survivor myself and I totally understood all about the chemo and radiation treatments. Cancer sucks! I will never understand why it had to take you. You were far too young with so much to live for! You had such a wonderful life with a beautiful wife and two precious children who you loved with all your heart and they returned that same love to you. It is the exact love that is shared by your entire family and countless friends. Mark, you were so blessed and I know you knew it. It just seems so unfair that you had to get such a rare and aggressive hateful cancer. You handled it with enormous courage and strength and that showed what an incredible person you were. God knew that and I guess that’s why he chose you to join him in heaven to live in his love and glory for eternity! You are at peace now Mark without pain or the stress from cancer. I don’t know how long the pain of you leaving this earth will last for everyone who cherished you will last, but Rest In Peace and just know that you left a lasting love and an incredible impression on countless family members, great friends and dedicated fans of yours. He decided a little while ago to stop the treatments and just have palliative care. He was in incredible pain, sick all the time, and not able to enjoy anything. Since then, he's been able to get up and enjoy time with his family and his projects. His motto is: Party 'til we can't.

Not sure what to say, this is the second time watching someone with facial cancer....1st time was my wife of 32 years during her 11 month battle that she lost in 2014. Mark please spend as much time as possible with your family and friends....the time you have left seems to just end and those if us who go on feel robbed of time we should have spent with you and others who have to fight this war alone! I came upon your Chanel accidentally. I watch because it struck a nerve with me deep in my heart. My dad passed away from a brain tumor when I was 8 and I wish I had videos like this. I saw how young you are, how positive you are, how you had a wife and kids and it hit me. My dad was so positive and uplifting and I remember that everyday of my life. I remember him preparing me and helping me not to be scared and it made a difference in my life. Hesitated to say all this but what your doing for your kids with these videos is huge. Words can’t describe how much they’ll cherish them. You’re truly selfless and your family will always be blessed by your love. I dont know you but I pray for you and your family.
