This species is called Formica subsericea, as I can tell by its long thorax and has a longer leg than other Formica's I know.

It’s definitely formica possibly formica fusca, formica cinerea or formica lemani

My guess is Formica fusca. Although my opinion is only due to the 3 silver stripes on their gaster. But the nakel pupae and normal pupae is also normal for Formica fusca

Hi Terriol, Yeah, I can do that, I also have an escape prevention oil. But right now I'm obligated to place it on the lateral panels, and it would look horribly! 😅 With the frame is so much better because you don't see the oil!

Formica fusca. Its apparen because its the only european species of formica (except of F. Lemani) that is fully black (F.lemani isnt realy black because it has redish leggs).
