I'm looking forward to see this film has versatility and potentialities going back how the devil's child came about, bringing the roots of the Omen lore into the film. How the Catholic priests participated in the birth of Damien and so many questions I've been intrigued to know going back when I watched The Omen film released in 1976 when I was 15 or 17 years old on DVD. The characters we all know the priests - Father Spiletto, Father Brennan, Mrs. Baylock who orchestrated bringing about the devil's child and murdered Robert Thorn's infant baby and substituted the child in the care of the Thorns to signal his rise to power in the world of Politics. Thats where all the answers according in the Book of Revelations, Chapters 12 and 13 put the story of Apostle John who saw visions to how the catastrophes, eminent destructive forces would occur in the Omen, the story overall of the three original movies - The Omen, Damien: Omen II and the Final Conflict. As I saw the teaser of the woman standing inside the mouth of hell with the candles above and below with two lights that shows the image of a beast was a powerful image and scary regarding the horror that awaits known as the First Omen - the beginning how the legend began. Much like Exorcist the Beginning released in 2004 set in the 1940s to uncover the church buried in the sands of Africa, where a Christian war buried the demon and closed the evil in the church forever until unearthed by a young Father Merrin who was the archeologist in the film played by Stellan Skarsgård and saw him back as a full-time priest in The Exorcist in 1973 played by the late Max von Sydow. Now, this film I'm interesting to see how these characters go from here. Will we see a young Bugenhagen who kept the seven daggers of Megiddo to Robert Thorn. How he kept the daggers too, that's what we'll see for sure the film going back to the very beginning. I'm very excited to see that if this film has all the elements of the origin story based on the novel makes sense and keeps the legacy of the Omen going then the following months for the release of the trailer coming out I'm looking forward to watch it. I've said it months ago in this channel the director, the producer, the people working on the project has to study up on the Omen lore and respect the franchise to make it believable in a traditional sense going back the roots where the characters from and how they plot to bring Damien we know as a child evil incarnate to bring about the end of the world in the story. I'm fascinated and interested to see how this plays out this coming April 2024. Happy for your insight and opinions about the Omen franchise. I love the Omen films.

Also remember, that when Father Spiletto, presented the infant Damien to Robert Thorn in the hospital, the nun who was holding him was Baylock, she was originally an Irish Nun, who went by the name of Sister Teresa whom became a apostate of Satan

I was only mentioning a piece of trivia in reference to the Omen film, that most people do not know, especially when the podcaster mentioned about the character Ms. Baylock and whether she would be in the up and coming prequel, that's all.@@cbob213

the Book always go more in dep't into the characters than the film. the 1st Book does go into Baylock's history. When Damien was born, Baylock had to shave a lot of hair off of Damien to make him presentable, when he was adopted by the Thorns . I have read all five of the books.

@@HorrorAndCoffeeI already saw it about six months ago as part of a test audience. If it weren’t part of The Omen series, it would be passable. But since they decided to make it part of The Omen and screw up the story, it’s bad. This movie is a cross between Alien Resurrection and Rosemary’s Baby. Lol.
