excellent review, good tip about waxing the table, I do alot of scrollsaw work and polish my table every few months to keep things sliding nicely, im looking for small bandsaw for light work in the shop. You were using some pretty thin stock in the demo, how does this do in thicker material. Does it have enough power for 1" walnut? BTW I officially became on old guy last month

Not sure. I mostly use 1/2" maple or oak. With those, it works well.

Thanks for the review. I’m old too and just starting woodworking. I debating between this saw or may spend some more money to get a Rikon 10”. Are you still liking the RYOBI after 2 years? Any issues with it? Thanks.

Have you cut any thick material with it? My original blade worked well, had to change it, and tried 3 blades and can’t get it to cut, ugh

This may seem silly, but make sure your blade is pointed downward ❤
