how do you maintain the movement of the flag just in viewport without needing to push play. I want to have it moving in a sequence , anyone can help please :)

if you want to wave it without pressing the play button you need to apply wind in material with world position offset.

I was just thinking. I'm trying to do a 2d platformer. Can I use this cloth simulation but constraint it on a specific axis and make the cloth still work 2d?
