How are underground propane tanks even allowed? All tanks eventually rust but heating oil tanks aren't under pressure like propane. Heating oil tanks underground eventually leak which is why some people shy away from buying those homes but pressurized propane? Not a good idea underground.

I'm with you, who the hell buries a propane tank, I wonder if that's a common procedure in that area, I live in Missouri and have never heard of that and don't think you could get a buried tank filled here.
@Andygarrett3578 ай бұрын
Gasoline tanks are underground at your local gas station. The house blew up because of a leak in the house, not the underground tank. Propane tanks are typically very strong and resistant to weather, etc. I've had 100lb rental tanks in rural Ontario that are over 60 years old.

@@terryken12 I'm in Iowa and I had never heard of it either, but I guess they're common in housing developments, especially the more upscale ones. They can run more homes off of one tank with one fill location and they don't have to have an "unsightly" LP tank in their yard like I do LOL. Number one: propane is heavier than air, so it hovers along the ground or floor. Number two: the propane gas hovered the ground to leak under or in the house along the feed line to the house or a opening in the soil providing a route. Number three: upon arrival shut off the source of the gas and the same time opening the door and getting the people out. Number four: don't send in 10 firemen into a house full gas if not on fire. Number five: each type of gas has an ignition point if you had testers the house should've been tested for a safe entry. Number six: before entry open all door entries into the home and use strong fans to blow through the house to evacuate the gas. Number seven: obvious lack of training to fill a house full of gas with fireman. Cause of fire or explosion someone turned on a light switch that had a slight spark or used some tool not made out of brass to prevent sparks. IOW, if you don't have brass axes or etc. better get some brass tools to avoid sparks. Good day!

Propane stoves are under attack. Many more than usual gas explosions in other countries too.
@craiganthony65328 ай бұрын
It's shocking how most gas leak reports are ignored due to nobody wanting the liability of dealing with them. My "landlord" from about a decade back told me to buy myself a new gas stove if I wanted my gas leak fixed after hiring his own "gas tech" and "ex-fireman" to look at it after I called the towns "gas leak hotline". Guy claimed to "know" the cops, and threatened me with that. This was a 100+ unit property. I've moved away since then, but the property is now mysteriously "incognito" with no way to view the current owners. This was also next door to the infamous Merrimac Valley gas explosions in Massachusetts that happened in 2018. Don't mess around when you "think" you smell gas... If your local municipality, police, or fire department, threaten retaliation against you for reporting a gas leak, let the world know. It's not a joke, it's not funny, it's literally life or death.

Most LPG tanks in the Northeast are 1,000 gallon. This is not hoarding- it is everyday heating. ASME containers are very thick with special thick coatings that are tested before use. The container is surrounded by anode bags that get periodically tested to protect the tank from galvanic corrosion. It is a simple matter of turning off the gas at the bonnet of the tank and waiting for the house to ventilate out. If the shutoff was not working, it is almost 100% chance its sabotage. It is conceivable some of these tens of thousands of military-aged men who hate us allowed by Biden to flood into the US are here to kill, disrupt, and terrorize us. It would have been easy for them to rig an ignition device under the house, jam the tank shutoff stuck open, break the 10 psi line up to the house then sit back and await the victims before igniting it much like an IED. The government will squash the investigation's findings on this just as they have on over 300 food processing plants, derailments, shootings, bio-labs, food poisonings, etc. Better prepare for really scary times ahead. Be in prayer and repent people.
