I'll leave this here for anyone who followed this or foureye's tutorial and is still getting bad performance or even worse after applying the same settings: 1. Do not set your renderworker count to the maximum number of cores available to your CPU, this essentially makes it so that the game is forcing all of your CPU cores to be engaged at all times even if the game is not in need of all of them, most games do not take advantage of more than 4 or 6 cores if at all and this game is no exception, I've played around lowering my renderworker count from max to below 6 and I found 5/6 cores to be the most stable-better performing setting, having it set to use all my CPU cores resulted in lower stability and performance and higher temperatures. 2. Setting my clutter draw distance to short instead of the suggested "minimum" in the settings file actually improved my stability and overall FPS and reduced the annoying popping from props/models in game. 3. Async compute you may not want to disable, since the recent patches for WZ2, having this set to false actually hindered my performance so I switched it back to true. 4. There is no visible difference between using AMD FSR, FidelityFx or Nvidia DLSS at least from what I've tested, but it's recommended to stick to the upscaling implementation of your GPU, in my case I use DLSS Quality, tried AMD FSR and FidelityFX CAS and found DLSS Quality gave me the best overall visual quality and performance balance. 5. There is no longer a performance improvement from disabling HAGS or Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling for this game since the recent patches at least on my setup, so I set this back to enabled since this was greatly impacting performance on many of the other games I play on a daily basis. Before you try to match your settings to any of these "best settings" tutorials, try instead using them as reference and play around with the settings to see what works best for your system. In case anyone is wondering what specs I have: RTX 3070(OC'd) Ryzen 7 5700x (stock boost) 16gb 3000mhz c15 ram set from corsair.

@@sadbilo3358 Try testing less than 8, I found my sweet spot to be 5 or 6 cores, your CPU is technically the same as mine, mine is just lower TDP(lower power consumption).

I have a RTX 3070, Ryzen 7 5800x, 32 gb & a Alienware AW27 1440p monitor. Whats settings do you recommend for best visibility AND fps my montior can push 280 obviously i know i wont get that but id like to at least see 160+ while playing its bullshit fr

one small thing a 30 series card user can do is actually roll back their drivers to their newest version before the 40 series as the drivers right now are heavily foccussed on the new products that they can harm the performance of a 30 series card. i got a extra 30 fps just by rolling back drivers and i have no more stutters and lag

@@TCaptainX the new driver did fix some occasional stability issues as well as add g sync for mw2 but unless ur solely playing mw2 i would roll them back and get overall better performance for most games or even better get a amd card cause nvidia is getting worse and worse as a whole

Definitely should get the oled monitor from Lg we have the same exact pc parts besides monitor but I’m loving the 27inch oled definitely feels so much smoother only issues could be burn ins but the black isn’t as black as other monitors which makes it great for cod

Why would upscaling improve quality 😂 it’s supposed to lower the resolution in game then use AI to upscale it to 4K much like consoles do to manage to run games. At least for DLSS which since I have a nvidia card I use.. so I’m a little confused by your recommendation? I mean typically DLSS is considered the go to for 4k. Also in 4k texture resolution looks great on high and makes a huge difference. For small monitors perhaps little to no benefit.

Pretty sure it's a global setting. Personally I put it up but don't press "apply" and just minimise it. When I'm done playing I hit "cancel" to return to normal
