UPDATED CAD Transform 2.0 for Blender 4.+

I am currently using the latest version of the CAD Transform Add-on, created by the maker of the impressive ArchiPack add-on (blender-archip.... In this and future short videos, I aim to kick off a quick tips guide on various techniques and tricks for applying CAD Transform. The series will demonstrate, how to utilize a custom coordinate system and toggle the snap system on and off and much more in further videos. This video will show you a really simple method for precise movement.
In this video, I am using a water treatment system construction for illustration purposes. Once I complete this project, you'll be able to download the Blender file. I'm making an effort to keep the construction as light weight as possible in terms of amount of vertices.

Hey thanks a lot for your comment 🙏 If my following answer is not, what you wanted to know, we can make a Discord meeting. And I teach you about ct, things I know. Actually my plan is, to upload a blendfile, that you can download. In this blend.file you will find a few parts, which need to be built together. I will make a video with comments, how to build those parts in a single assembly part and I will use CAD Transform for assembly. Hopefully you will know all needed stuff after the video 😊

@ 0:36 - G? It can't be G because, of course, that's Grab. Shouldn't there be another command for measure?

Hey 👋 Actually, g is correct ✅. But for measurement you have to make sure, nothing is selected before you press „g“. Otherways you will move selected object :)
