As someone who has been playing since 2013, I am shocked that we're finally getting some serious fidelity. I've been waiting for a quality afterburner and wing vapor effects for years. Not to mention Raytracing~!? Lets be honest, War Thunder's lighting engine has been seriously lacking. Imagine how great these effects will look at night.

Even without ray tracing or changing my graphics settings (my 1650 would kill me if I did) this game looks gorgeous now. Kinda reminds me of 2020 I think it was when gaijin did the last graphics overhaul

3:10 pretty sure you are reffering to this change "When anti-aircraft missiles are destroyed in the air, there is now a chance for the engine compartment to continue moving purely visually." this means when a missile explodes, the explosion has a chance not to destroy the missile completly, and keep the motor relatively in-tact flying still forward even after the explosion, essentially more debris. as they stated, purely visual, and will not have a hitbox

They have to add vehicle interaction with weather elements. Such as snow gathering on tank or droplets from rain on the tank. That would looks amazing.

i’m so glad i’m getting a gaming laptop soon so i can enable rt but currently i have a laptop with an i5 and integrated😭

You probably won’t want to. RT has an enormous impact on performance, even for the best machines money can buy (especially when that machine is a laptop). It’s just not worth it for multiplayer games imo.
