I have tried updating through the GAMMA launcher and unchecked the "Delete Reshade DLL's".. but it is still disabled in game. Any help would be appreciated.

As a helper in the gamma discord, I will also note that HD models and ugp can cause a TON of crashes and bugs. It's important to know what you're doing before you start jamming mods in. He clearly knows what he is doing.

I use UGP and it is amazing and don't want to play with out it but it has been a nightmare. I don't dare try and add that armor mod pack kvmas or what ever. Ive lost 2 or 3 playthrough between those 2 add ons. The first one I lost I had expert tools 😢

​@@willbyrn5920it's not the installing them part. It is the updating GAMMA with other mods on top of it that is when the crashing begins. There is tons of UGP that I've had to get people on discord to either drop me other files or grab alt files out of other modpacks to paste over missing or corrupted bump maps or whatever.

If you use latest Screen Space Shaders, don't enable Grass Shadows. Instead tweak Shadow Cascades for Grass Shadows in that mods MCM menu. Default grass shadows are a performance hog and don't look that good, while SSS ones not only look better but don't affect performance as much.

one setting not covered that worked wonders for me is enabling DSR in nvidia control panel. this allows to run the game at slightly higher than native resolution and then have it scaled down - it does great at anti-aliasing and produces very sharp image with no blur or shimmers. if your gpu can afford it (the game is most often cpu bound anyway) - highly recommended.

​@@MikhailBardikov right, that's why using DSR, which is dependent on GPU resources not CPU, makes so much sense for this game. If you're already cpu-bound to say 60fps - why not use gpu-dependent features like DSR (or shaders) to improve image quality? as long as you don't overdo it you're still going to get the same 60fps just with much better quality graphics. I'm running at 5120x2160 scaled back to 3440x1440 and the game looks amazing - no jagged lines and no shimmering, and performance is the same as when I run native (5600X/4090).

Great video. I use the kvmas & azetrix model merge mod with 0 issues. Makes NPC's look so much better & is a game changer. The newer BaS weapon mod update is pretty good too.

What do you mean when you say reposition? Like being able to lean the gun out to the side for blind fire like tarkov?

currently bouncing between 2 which I both play at 1440p. My main that I use for gaming that I cap at 60fps is a Ryzen 9 3950x/2080ti. My work pc for recording/editing/creative that I occasionally play on is an i9 13900kf/4080 which I cap at 120fps.

How you make grass look so good? i have same settings. grass has like no shadows (although they are turned on in the settings) and the sub surface scattering is on the whole model of grass. not just the tips as in your video.

KVMAS and Azetrix models are not only better than the "HD models" but are more stable, too. Little more of a pain to install but comparatively simple to some mods

So gamma worked great with medium/high settings 0.9 but on 0.9.1, even with the stutter plugin in mod organizer, the game cant run at higher than 5 fps and i can't even get out of the starter house in rookie village before my laptop crashes the game

Edit 2: Nope. Still happening. I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong. In all the videos CAPA, Bloomdark, and Hunter 1.0 look so vibrant. The grass and trees are a deep green color, yet when I use them everything is just gray. If I try using saturation to get more greens then it looks better, but still looks nothing like it is supposed to. Edit: I think I figured it out, I just got so caught up with everything I forgot to delete my shader cache. So I am having problems getting any reshade settings to work in multiple environments. I can stand in the sun and get it looking absolutely gorgeous with the brightness, gamma, contrast, saturation settings, but as soon as I move into a building or dark area I can't see anything. I can't figure out what settings will make it look as good as the KZbin videos I see, cause the presets in my game look a lot grayer to me by default.

I'm gonna soon upgrade to a 14700k + RTX 4090 both watercooled and overclocked, and see how gamma runs. So far i'm on medium settings on a ryzen 5 2600 & rtx 2060 (trash RAM & other components though) so i can't wait to try your settings. I'm expecting solid fps at 4K but as the game is not really optimized and uses an old engine, i'm not expecting to run 300 fps lol. Still useful thanks i'll see how it turns out for me

You'll get very high FPS with that type of processor since the older engine loves intel and fast single threading

Difficult to say, these are all individual authors and most make mods for the love of the craft. You could probably find some donation links attached to bigger modpacks but those only go to the organizers of the packs and not to the individual authors.
