Hurricane Milton Update: On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk will be open until 2 p.m., weather permitting, and will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 10th. Volcano Bay will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.

Have been a couple of New England hurricanes, not as intense as yours but still lots of damage. The closest I can compare to it was an ice storm that we had that blacked out half the state and some people were up to a month getting power back. Stay safe and don’t take chances. Yes, born and lived on south east coast all my life. Biggest lived through so far is Hugo in 89 in Charleston SC. But many others I been through.

Yes. a few years back when one was coming towards New Orleans again. Luckily it shifted east and went in through Biloxi. They closed the French Courter as a precausion. Got lots of wind and heavy rain. The Airport hotel we were at threw all the pool furniture into the pool.

Y&N - Ike blew my roof (shingles) off in southern OH, did lots of damage, power was out for 10 days. I learned, generator, extra fuel, several 5gal water bottles, emergency food kits, first aid kit. We're reasonably well prepared now for OH.
