Hi Robert, congratulations on 43 years! Thanks for the heads up on the breakfast schedule change. I hope that you are able to get your radar system working again. I recently purchased the rear fender mount from Max and also ordered the Innov combined camera and radar system. I will see if I can get it installed sometime. I will take my bike to the shop for maintenance including an oil change this Saturday. I will have put 16,000 miles on it since I got it 10/21/23l. Hope to see you again soon.

Thank you Tom. Yesterday's attempt to repair was a failure and I removed the system entirely from the bike. May I suggest when you put the indicator lights on or around you mirror you do so with Velcro so that it can be removed when/if you need to remove your mirrors in the future. Hay Robert I get the rain no rain thought process. I am one of the guys that don’t install aftermarket market accessories unless it super clean plug and play. I saw the seat off your goldwing a few videos ago and my OCD got triggered. Good luck with the blind spot accessories repair.

I have spliced the three wires ion each side and added a plug connector the wires are wax coated so when connecting to another you need to sleeve them each time but scrape the wax off. Do not use heat shrink because it melts The wax which will Short the system. It is fiddly but works. I will get a picture of the plug connectors I used. They allow me to remove the mirrors and disconnect the innovv 3rd eye system so works for me.

I have purchased the blind spot indicator and was looking at the issue that you talked about having them on the mirrors. I think I will be using velcro on the mirror indicators.

Working in electronics. They are probably coated. Try soldering them and use marine shrink tube on 2 of the 3 wires than one for all 3 wires. That should seal everything up. With my vertebrae fusion, that limits my ability to rotat my head. I've been seriously considering buying the blind spot warningsystem. I use my vantrue dash camera as a rear view camera. If you remember, you showed me your induction charger mount. I use an old phone with no cell servic as the display. That phone is also my extra TPMS for the bike and trailer. Because it is a wifi connection to the camera system, you can't use the same phone for the camera as you do for communication.

Devin, soldering won't fix my issues... yes it will fuse the wires together but I want a removable connection so that when I work on the bike and need to remove the mirrors, there's a way to simply unhook them... So I need a connector. thanks for watching bud !!

INNOV needs to build in a disconnect on those in my opinion. they have one for the rear radar... why not the indicator lights.

@@spotdude77 Turns out the latest models do have a disconnect for the mirror indicators but they put the disconnect way down by the base unit which would be under the seat on the Goldwing. sort of useless.

@robertwhitemoto other than the mirrors attachment issue, you were happy with the function and features. Did you think of attaching the on the mirrors before the hinge joint? I was on my way home on my 42-mile almost total interstate ride, and several times i had people passing me, and they were difficult to see. My dash cam phone had died the day before and forgot it in the garage. So i was trying to locate a place that would work and still stand out when changing lanes. I really appreciate all the input.
