Thank you for the information. I was connecting usb from remote to micro usb on the aircraft. Didn’t know I had to use adapter to connect to micro USB port on controller. Thanks for taking the extra step to help the universally challenged.

When I turn on the handset and craft on my phantom 4pro + it won’t allow me to fly. When I press GO FLY nothing happens. I presumed firmware needed updating but can’t find how to do that. No message comes up on screen telling me so. Can you help. Don’t know how to get out of this

Deff a bad idea. never use any third part parts on DJI craft. Metal adaptor will ware the props very quickly so its a deff no.

If your connected to the internet it should pop up when you switch on the screen.

it's was but found out ricc I needed to use OTG as I was USB rc to micro USB P4P but now I micro USB rc to OTG adaptor to micro USB P4P I couldn't find a video with p4p+ with rc built in screen thanks ricc I didn't realise was u 👍

Can I ask you to delve into your wealth of knowledge to solve a problem I have with my P4P+? Every time I turn on the controller a message pops up asking me to calibrate the compass in the controller and there's a picture of a figure 8 procedure. I have tried it with the controller horizontal to the ground, sideways & even upside down, all to no avail. Any idea what to try next & will it affect the flight characteristics? Cheers

Marionville Multirotors Thank you for the reply, I managed to sort it out. I have another question if I could impose once more... The default RTH altitude setting is 30m, I prefer it higher but it seems no matter what number one enters, there is no enter/save/ok button, so it defaults back to 30m when the unit is switched off. Am I missing something, is there anyway to save the desired altitude? Cheers...

I have the same problem, did you try updating the controller, lots of people have this problem but nobody comes back and explains the solution. Did you get the video fixed??
