So glad my uni application didn't ask "why do you want to go to this university?" Because my honest-to-God answer would be "I'm starting this application in mid July and this is one of the only universities that still has applications open, so I don't really have a choice. Plus, it's a 5 hour drive away, and if I spend any more time in my mom's house, I might go insane." Honestly though... one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I wrote one of my essays as me basically gushing over aquariums and another on having perpetually sweaty palms. I was going to write about substance abuse problems and suicide attempts and how I got over that but apparently that’s not what the capitalist elites want to hear. I’m in a t20 university in America now though so jokes on all of us I guess.

My college essay that i wrote was literally just supposed to be about a time you overcame adversity and were determined to succeed. I talked a tiny bit about who I was and than I talked about a time when I was doing carts at a grocery store and we were closing and I was the only one who knew how to do carts and the whole parking lot was full because we had no help. The place I work at has a massive parking lot too, probably 500 carts or so. Got that done in 35-40 minutes. I got into that college and that’s where I’m going.
