10:38: That story about blood being found all over in glasses and a woman dead in bed was from a book by a criminologist/profiler; can't recall his name but it was a CSI-type book. The coroner showed up at the ghastly scene and told the attending officers the woman had in fact died from blood loss through the rupture of "esophageal varices" i.e varicose veins in the esophagus caused by severe alcoholism, and that he saw this sort of thing often and it was not a "ritual murder" and did not involve "vampires". The officers routinely referred to the coroner disrespectfully as "Toe Tags" and didn't take him seriously about the cause of death until autopsy revealed that he was indeed correct; the woman had ruptured the varices (varicose blood vessels) in her throat while coughing (she was also a heavy smoker) and had slowly bled to death while trying to contact her doctor (this happened on a Friday night), and while drunkenly trying to contact him, had been spitting the blood building up in her throat into glasses and leaving the full glasses around the living room, until she felt faint from blood loss and went to lie down on her bed , where she finally died from blood loss. The coroner was given more respect by the police; they started calling him "Mr. Toe Tags" after that.

that first story is fantastic, literally tripped and fell down the stairs. which gave him a distinctive fracture that he'd taught people beforehand was a sign of self defence in domestic violence. "so uh, how'd that happen." "I fell down some stairs" "mhm, so how's your marriage with your spouse going? any problems at home?"

When I was a tiny tot, my pediatrician used my medical file as a training tool to show how to look for warning signs of abuse but not to jump to conclusions. Cause my file looked kind like classic abuse- regular bruising on torso/legs but not really on arms/face, wounds with odd explanations like "she fell on a gas-fueled heater" and "ran into a table and knocked three teeth out". Turns out I was just an odd kid with a penchant to unusual accidents and the Dr knew us socially, so knew I wasn't being abused.

Just read about a case where a man was stabbed 170 times with a pair of scissors. Initially the police suspected murder, but eventually they decided they were self-inflicted. He suffered from epilepsy & had been known to punch himself. His local MP did ask for the case to be reopened without success.

Stuff done in Mexico actually is pretty horrifying. If you’ve seen anything done by professional “butchers”, they can de-glove anything, and I mean ANY and everything. usually with just random machetes and some weird looking long thin knives. I always felt that kind of skill could be used for so much more and better things. Imagine the kind of work they could do in hospitals helping disfigured people with plastic surgery or surgery in general. Smh.

I’ve always wondered about that one coroners story from Homicide: Life On The Street and whether it was a true story or a textbook question. Husband and wife who live on the 7th floor of a fourteen floor apartment building. They like to argue and the arguments usually end with him grabbing his empty shotgun, aiming it at the wife, and dry firing it, yelling “POW!”. They have a grown son who lives with them and doesn’t do much with his life. He hates the arguments and grows tired of them and life in general. So in a last act, before he plans to jump off the building roof, he loads his fathers empty shotgun. At the same time the son is on the roof, the husband and wife are arguing. Husband brings out the shotgun and aims it just as the son jumps. Husband misses the wife but manages to hit the son as he plunged past their window, son dying of the gunshot before he hits the pavement.

my grandfather was a firefighter in like the 60s and 70s. two stories: 1. he told me about washing an eyeball down a sewer after a car accident 2. how he paraded all his firefighters past a child who had died in a house fire. not from smoke or fire ... one of the fire fighters had stood on her head and crushed it. he used it as a training exercise about being careful because he was so furious and there was no way to know which of them it was. the child was about 18 months old. My dad used to drive a tow truck. he sat the car a student a year level ahead of me in high school on the front lawn after it had been crushed by a power pole. the student had died. luckily this was on a farm so it wasn't really on display for the public, but it was on our front lawn and I did see it.

Reminds me of a story my dad told me. The way he tells it there was a car wreck involving a motorcycle and he meant a wreck. He keeps driving down the road after seeing this as the cops were already on the scene (it was late at night and he was the only person on the road), he kept driving for about 5 minutes at about 100 km and he sees something on the road in his headlights, it’s a small round object with a gleam and slight red spot below it. He slows down and sees that it was the motorcyclists head, severed from his body, still in its helmet.

Every time I've had to have iv fluids in the past couple of years, they have to keep me on a heart rate monitor and check my bp because I have tachycardia and high blood pressure, and if they give me fluids too quickly my bp will spike and I could basically have a heart attack.

I don't condone self termination at all, but I don't understand why some people decide to do it by involving other people. Jumping into traffic or in front of a train, wrecking your car into someone else's, or worse yet, literally rigging the gun so when someone opens the door, they indirectly kill you themselves. Thats how you get other people to also commit self termination, and its just not ok. None of it is ok at all, I've lost friends and family to it, but people who get to that point shouldn't ruin others lives.

About the ones where the person jumps in front of a moving vehicle, or wrecks their vehicle in a devastating manner... Two words: Despair and Courage Despair because of depression, and Courage because suddenly you have the raw will power to end it all. The despair drives up the courage to do such things, they are instant decisions, you see. Now the ones where there's some sort of malicious planning, like rigging the gun case, there's some feeling of revenge, kind of. The person blames other for their suffering and want to give them hell before they end it. And the most horrible case when the person kills the ones dear to them before... Usually it because of a sense of property or something. They are his family, they belong to him, he will take them with him. This sorta a thing. (How do I know about this? Researching about the matter... After surving an attempt. Instead of a car, a man in a hurry hit me with his motorcycle, I'm pretty sure he ignored the red light... Thank heavens he did. After all these years I still feel bad for the mf scare I might have given him, and his motorcycle that went to hell)

oh and I work in roading ... the wire rope barriers on highways ... yeah they are pretty dangerous. concrete barriers are actually safer and easier to maintain, but the steel ropes are favored because cars will bounce like a pinball off them instead of crossing into oncoming traffic. there's enough give for that to happen. concrete barriers will crush the car. however for motorcyclists ... steel wire barriers become what we call them colloquially ... cheese graters. motorcyclists will get the very raw end of the deal crashing into one. this is well known by designers. they are also very costly to maintain because if there is an accident, the whole section needs extensive traffic management to access it and then needs to be re tensioned. A concrete barrier will crush your car, meaning car drivers are more at risk., but built right a car will not cross into on coming traffic. basically they think its an acceptable risk for motorcyclists to get turned into swiss cheese and keep a car pinballing on the correct side of the road (people who have an accident in a car with wire ropes are less likely to die) than for cars to crash into concrete barriers.

I used to study archeology, and in one of the forensic anthropology courses I attended we worked with some medieval skeletons from an old graveyard that had been buried under modern buildings at some point. So I remember fondly that after the class I would always need to blow my nose, because we breathed in quite some bone-dust. Does that count as involuntary cannibalism I wonder? Also, I did another course in forensic anthropology at the forensic pathology institute of our city. Our teacher was and archeologist herself and worked on all the cases where bones are found to determine if they are from recent cases or from archeological gravesites/ old ww2 casulties etc. The institute had some human remains in a collection, some historical, some more recent, such as medical wet Specimens. But one stood out in particular. It was a single mummified arm with a flashlight in hand. Aparently the old man it belonged to had a stroke/heartattack in his recliner in the living room. He lived alone so he tried signaling SOS with his flashlight but died anyway. For weeks/months he wasn't found until eventually his gas and water was turned off and he was to be evicted for not paying rent. Nobody suspected he was dead, because before that he lived a seclusive life and had no contacts. So the neighbour's thought the smell from his apartment was weird, but not out of the ordenary. But they Aparently at one point went on to complain that the dudes mini-Christmas-tree in the window kept blinking until spring, to the point electricity was shut off of course. So... Due to a rather dry and airid climate in his apartment the man mummified over the months he sat there. But the atm with the remote fell of. That's the weird story I remember from back then.

Not a Forensic anything and only know due to the people investigating the case: I used to live on a corner block. One day we had cops and guys in full white body suits (to dump if/when blood and stuff gets on you) going back and forth across our front yard (common for people to cut across but not this number and not cops). A little time before this event one of the people who lived next door (they build the house and knew my fathers parents) died in the house. His wife move away to live with family (her husband did EVERY thing for her) and they sold the house. The guy who bought it was happy but the wife said "some one died here. I'm not living here" and refused to move in. Few weeks pass and he called his wife and son into the house to talk about them staying at the house, locked the door, went out to the back room and blew his brains out. The wife and son were stuck in the house (not knowing how to unlock the door) all night with his dead body. House quickly went back up on the market and as far as we know no more deaths there (moved a few years later)

In my home town, a guy dressed up in women´s underwear satisfied himself by sticking a plugged in table lamp lightbulb first up his behind, then came across the radiator with his wedding ring and electrocuted himself. he was found by his 12 year old daughter coming home from school... A friend of mine came to an accident scene with a motor cyclist sticking back upwards on a metal crash barrier, obviously dead, with motorbike parts scattered all over the blind curve where it had happened. said friend secured the accident spot and picked up some scattered parts in order to prevent further accidents. Picked up the helmet of the motor cyclist and only then noticed that the guy´s head was still in it.

The CP server happened to me. I torrented a game and after that my computer got super slow. My cousin who knows computer stuff checked it out for me and I’m not very tech literate so idk how it works but from what he explained, my computer got hijacked and was being used as a server for CP. Had to trash that computer bc no matter what he did to wipe it out, it would somehow always come back. Scary stuff

Story of a 12-year-old girl that wanted to commit suicide. 1. She did not commit suicide. Suicide is defined as, 1. "The act of killing yourself intentionally" 2. "A person who has killed themselves intentionally". 2. The mom that opened the door, firing the shotgun into her daughter's body did not kill/murder her daughter. 3. The mother was an innocent person used as a tool in the death of the daughter that had set the scene in motion. 4. The mother will always blame herself for her daughter's death even though she had no way of knowing that opening the RV door would cause a shotgun to shoot her daughter. 5. Suicide at the hands of others that you unwillingly force to participate is not suicide. 6. If you are suicidal do NOT take others with you when you die as in the airline pilot that flew a commercial jet into the side of a mountain, killing himself and all onboard. 7. Just because you are angry with a parent, sibling, boyfriend/girlfriend, friend, etc do not force them to be part of your death.

My thing is is how no one is questioning just what the parents did to make a fucking 12 year old to want to die. That was not only pre-planned but the girl had no idea when her parents would be back. 12 year olds don't just suddenly want to die. They especially don't just suddenly want to force their parents to be apart of their death. Something fishy happened between the parents and the daughter but no one seems to be questioning it.

Why the hell did he write NS_W and not NSFW, do people really get offended or triggered by it? Like 1 - NSFW is not a word it's an acronym, that's like writing "Get here AS_P" instead of ASAP. 2 - it means not safe for work, you can't be triggered by a category or else you have serious mental problem. I've seen another Reddit video where the word "accusation" was censored, and other video with similar stupid censoring. Political correctness is way out of control, it's like using the term PP for penis, and then "the P" for PP because "PP" is becoming "triggering/offensive", then using the word "private male body part", but since it would be transphobic, you THEN use "private XY chromosome body part", AND again since it's still offensive and triggering to LGBTQ+ people, you use another thing again. That's bs
