to be honest mujhe koi college nhi milra tha, and i am talking about 2014-2018 batch, that's why as a last resort i joined this college and i was surprised how much i enjoyed my college life here, and what i feel is to get placements of high package, you have to work on your skills, khudse hi coding karo khudse se algo ki practice, college will give you companies but i depends on you whether you can crack high package or not. I got placed at 12 lpa(in 2018) from college from cse-cyber security, it's been around 4.5 years now and i am having 50 lpa package(in one of top and well known product based org.). with this i wanted to tell you if you have no college in hand and even you are unable to clear iit mains paper(just like me), go for any college which atleast bring company in campus, baaki sab you have to look for yourself(prepration, daily coding karna, projects karna), even if you are in iit and not preparing, you will not be placed. So, think while keeping these points in mind too. Best of luck to you all

I'm a student there and i consider it worst decision of my life . The only time they respond is when the time of paying fees comes. And at the time when students need their help or support they just pass different - different phone numbers. There main purpose is to make money and not future of it's students . Let me tell you a trick to prove this , email them that you want to leave the college many calls will come within minutes and if the same student mail them that they have problem they won't reply till eternity. Management is weak , placement is pathetic. Me and my friends regret and feel very depressed thinking about our parents money !!!

Half knowledge is a dangerous thing. Who told you that overseas is a better option for in terms of to spend this much. Overseas education are way more higher in expenses. Mostly rich kids move overseas for further studies n mostly celebs also prefer higher studies in overseas like United kingdom, U.S.A. There are many classmates who were from a strong financially background n mostly are moved to international countries for their further studies, middle class mostly i found saying that they can't afford studies in overseas. If you are talking about a part time job than for that also nobody is sitting there to offer you so easily getting it. Living n a your personal expenses will cost you more than 30 lakhs inr. It's so funny the way you are taking overseas studies expenses lightly over this Indian private college.

Well I'm studying in UPES currently and I'll say many of the things are true but you just have to believe in yourself bcuz you are the only one who make records and packages. I'll say that I got admitted to best college because apart from all the flaws, this college is best from all other institutions in Dehradun. You'll always find a person saying "kitna bekar college hai mera" even I too say that but apart from all these things, faculties are way too supportive, infrastructure and security is way better than other colleges. So if you are looking for it, you must give this college a try.

Studying in all private universities is the same. Agar fees nahin dena tho pado aur NID mein join karo. Jo entrance nahin clear karthe unke liye tho kahin tho kuch padna hi hei. Here fees jyada hei lekin infrastructure maintain karne ke liye zaroori hei. Apart from studies students should have extra curricular activities. And regarding placements its all left to yourselves. If u develop a skill thats something different from others then may be u can be the one the techies are hunting for.. Becos companies always prefers innovative ideas rather than imitation of academic syllabuses. Here no spoon feeding no pampering.. Agar kuch kar dikhana hei tho apne aap seekho by making use of their infrastructure.. 👍🏻

5.30 L as starting salary is a very good number I think, it's almost 44K per month. It's a decent amount of money at initial stage of your career. After some experience you can switch companies. Even government jobs won't pay you that much. And especially if you belong to Uttarakhand, UPES is one of the best option for you because of the concessions you get. And also not to forget the fact that you first have to qualify for the campus placements which most of the students don't.

I am currently in my final year of Btech Cse- DevOps from Upes dehradun(Not placed yet because of Active Backlogs). I think I can explain well. If you talk about placements the main motivation of any universities should be to ask companies to hire students from their campus because after that it only depends on the student even he/she is from IIT. In this regard, I think UPES is doing fabulous job. See, it only depends on the student from my batch most of friends are already placed with more than 14lpa till now. I also have 3 friends who are placed at microsoft for more than 50lpa. If you'd talk about average package its not a piece of cake. If company is giving you more than 20lpa they want more skills from you and tbh most students in any college in India can't even solve one coding question in any language and they are still placed because UPES Computer science has 97% placement every year. So I think regarding placements UPES stands out. And I'd seen some comments on top also heard from someone that UPES is calling them everyday for admission. I was actually shocked because when we took admission they have zero marketing policy. Actually It started after Covid idk why they are doing this its actually needs to stop.

See, in case if you fail to clear your clat or lsat then you first consider Symboisis pune and NMIMS and then opt for UPES The ratings of Symboisis noida and UPES are almost same infact I myself chose UPES over symboisis noida. Here campus life is rich and also the faculty is quite good. Before admitting to this colge I was nervous due to bad reviews but after coming here it's just amazing for a law student as IDK about other courses much. You will be given every opportunity but it depend on you how you use it. And also the placements are growing better each year.

I had written UCEED in 2018 with 1300-1380 rank where the cut of was 12XX and dropped from designing due to environment problem and done engineering for 4 years and completed and i had tried for job in IT but i didn't get even I didn't wrote CEED in 2023 so at last movement i had got a chance to UPES DAT Exam so can i go for it or wait for next CEED and my interest is Transportation designing if not available product designing (first of all will i set to designing courses with out experience in B Design)

For Aviation courses i think Alpine is best it's dgca approved and is ranked amongst top in India if we talk about aviation course..m also currently studying over here so just my opinion if need any further help let me know.!
