Welcome to the Classic Lets Play by Prowl! This series is about getting back to the roots of Minecraft, what made it’s lets plays fun and popular to begin with… just playing the game! There are a ton of series out there where the creator makes some huge and ridiculous amount of progress per episode, and you end up only seeing a few highlights of what it took to get there because there was so much done (I’m looking at you 100 days video’s), and if that’s what you want to see here, click away, because you wont. What you will see though are video’s where we go through the world together, building up a village and defending it per season, and once done, we move onto episode 1 of the next season with nothing… find a new village in a different biome (or make our own custom one!) and build it up… oh yeah, and we can build a special structure that will give us access to all of our old stuff from the other village!

In regards to the objectives you set.... What if you didnt delete them, but just mark them complete; like you put them in a book as a checklist, and mark them off as you go.... That way later on down the road when you come back to this village, you can see what tasks you were doing???

I say, build up the town defences a fair bit, then build up the tower to show the Pillagers trying to get better than the villagers. Villagers upgrade defences, Pillagers upgrade. Repeat. More story that way.

I would love to see more of you wandering off to gather supplies and more of the process of building or even torching the village kind of things. You can keep much more of these activities in your videos as far as I'm concerned. I love the 'before I can do this, I have to do that' aspect of the game. It allows for the unexpected and the little side projects and adventures that invariably happen which I would love to see. It would add greatly to the continuity and my sense of being there. I'm happy to wait for the builds and accomplishments. Going out and getting the things you need to do them is half the fun for me. I know that jumping lets you cover more ground faster, but I don't suppose you would consider doing less of it? It makes it harder for me to absorb what's on the screen. With all that said: you make great videos, Prowl. Thanks.

I like to combine oak plank texture with the cut side of the oak log, with the trunk "circles" appearing. Strip it to match the brighter tone.

Upgrade the outpost! Go for the story line!! Prowl is a PRO mining without torches, Crazy!!! The big oak trees are very annoying to chop down. Diamond finder award goes to Prowl! Just a crazy thought but if you build up a river into the ravine you could have it run-through the village. Could be cool for bridges and protection against the pillagers

Glad your doing a classic survival series in Minecraft-Bedrock version even though it has some performance issues from the last couple updates. Not enough survival series out there with the Bedrock version, lot of youtubers play the Java version while many of us play the Bedrock version cause its available on consoles and lets us use controllers. Keep up the great work. Would love to see outpost upgraded and maybe create a war scene/battlefield between the village and outpost. You should create a fortress around the village.

Maybe you can build a friendly market between the village and outpost. Try to bring peace to the land! Encourage community by taking advantage of mob path finding tricks!

THIS is the series I didn't know I was waiting for. This is going to be so much fun! The house looks great, love the idea of a shared mine and storehouse, and building a little lore with the pillager tower. And I LOVE the twist where the seasons are connected in the same world, you get that fresh start, AND you can work towards connecting them together with access to your previous efforts. I always have a hard time playing classic minecraft but its fun to watch❤😊 Oh and i tend to put all the villagers in one house and lock them in while i work on demolishing most buildings to remake the town😂

Blackstone, deepslate, diorite. Upgrade the tower. Transforming it into a victorian style draculas castle woth spikes on the ground, open fire on top. A large stained window on an offshoot tower over looking the village. I like stories and building, instantly came to mind.

if you're trying to tell a story with the village, try making houses that look as if they're in the process of being built. Throughout the series, you can come back to them and finish them so they seem to be being built in real time with the viewers. Love the content man and keep up the amazing work!

I wanted a good mix... I love that early game, have nothing feel... but at some point, having access to everything will be nice because I can make more progress. Basically each season I'll keep that fresh start for a while, and once I feel like I've gotten a lot done, and I really want to crank some progress out on some bigger things, I'll do the trading hub thing.

Eventually building roads for horse between the towns would be cool. And maybe railroads. Not just a nether travel hubs.

The main issue is these towns will likely be in some cases thousands of blocks away from each other.

Why don't you use charcoal more for torches? At this point, coal is a precious commodity.

I have more fun mining for coal than I do chopping down trees and smelting it into charcoal for torches lol.

I think it would be awesome if each village had it’s own palette that isn’t necessarily the usual fare. Things like nether woods, terracotta combinations, or deep slate. Just nothing standard to keep each village thematically unique.

I love casual Minecraft! I'm 42 been playing on and off 10 years and I've never beat the ender dragon! I tend to pretty-up villages and basically play Farmer, or go nuts in create! My 6 year old daughter is getting really good already, so I need to hone my skills! Btw, following along with you and early on seeking sheep, I wandered across a trail ruin at 178, 68, -366 in case that's something for the checklist down the line.

I love the beginning of Minecraft. I love finding my first base and then starting a connected Underground hub from it the different parts of the world. I also like mining and building. Loves the let's play stuff. Keep it up! By the way, if you don't like creepers, you can go into the settings for the world and turn off griefing. The only thing in my opinion that creepers are good for is terraforming.

Nice, I personally like the showing everything style of let's play with more time spent chillaxing in the early game - I think too many people (myself included) can just be tempted to buzz past this and get on to grinding for top level gear, and there's not enough made of the whimsical pleasure of building (even simple stuff) early game. Your starter house looks nice btw, and sure upgrading the pillager outpost into a foreboding castle or something, which the locals live in fear of and have to send sacrifices to sounds good as well :)

I enjoy the starting out in a new world, it's like delving into the unknown ( well it is I suppose 😂 ) . This is very much my style of play . I always work with the first village I come across and build it up , also build a small base at spawn with some supplies for when the enviable happens. You got luck with this one , looking forward to following your progress.

The house looks great! I like how it blends with the rest of the village, while at the same timez it has a different vibe to it. Also the tips you gave while building it, were better than some lengthy tutorials I've watched about building, so that was nice. About the story, I think the village being enslaved by the Illagers makes sense. Your presence will help them regain their freedom eventually, I'm looking forward to see how the story unravels!
