Bro! How to connect that batery bms directly to charger adapter, Im dead thinking the way to connect it with the bms and it wont work but its working with batery and it wont with 12v 2amps charger adapter😑 im connecting 2 negative to negative charger and same thing with positive but its not working, so i connect it with only 1 negative to negative charger and 1 positive with positive charger but still it wont work🤦🏾‍♂️ so how do i connect it to make it working using adapter instead of buy or make new batery like you did in the vidoe, i want to use it as corded drill, my drill batery were the same as your tho, so please help me out😢 btw the adapter i wanna use is 19v 2 amps and the other 1 is 12v 2 amp just in case 19v couldn't be use👍🏾 please help out as soon as posible

The most logical thing to do would be to not mess with the voltage, or else it would unusable with the devices it used to power. So if the original battery is 12V, you still need to have 12V at the end. The original is 3 pieces of 18650 batteries in parallel making actually a bit more than 12V. So if you want to have the same volts without any tinkering with the board, its got to be a multiple of 3 in series. The guy here seems to make his choice as 6 betteries, so 2 in parallel x 3 which effectively doubles the capacity but still retain the ~12V output. You could try jam in 9 batteries if you want, but its gonna be a bit big

From what I understand how battery packs work, its not simply doubling amperage. With these batteries, its not just batteries but also a system to protect the battery. It wont exactly double the power, because the board you see there would limit the power drawn from the batteries, to protect them. Also, you wouldnt really want to double any torque or power. All the devices we have today are designed with tight tolerances to save money. If the power is too much, the drill might get broken. What it essentially does is doubles the capacity. It will of course take longer to charge, but you can leave the battery to charge, go and have your coffee, then you come back, and battery can last twice longer.

Why not test them using multimeter or something. want to know the difference before and after.

It's still 12v. You can't test mah with multimeter though, you just need to use the drill and see how long it'll last before the battery runs out.

​@@luziaflone1951 i suppose, if having no special equipment, a diligent (crazy) person could sit by the battery as it charges with a meter, stopwatch, paper and pen to jot down how the voltage changes at 5 minutes interval or so.
