I know I'm very late but- I just like the detail when Squip shows Jeremy how if he gets with Brooke and Christine with Jake she'll end up falling for him and we see on the drawing, that Christine detaches herself from Jake to go towards Jeremy and when Jeremy does the same, Brooke actually stays next to him showing she does like him. Not only it emphasizes on Jake not really loving Christine that much, but it also shows how Jeremy really hurt Brooke's feelings for doing that.

I know. It would be cool if both of those were in the same canon, but they're not. In this version, Jake is just a shallow asshole who thought Christine was hot. The Broadway version is a guy who insecure and tries to appear cool, but in reality, is just insecure and scared.
