Upgrade Old Dust Collector more Powerful and Strong

Very smart working but you really need bigger impeller to take full advantage of bigger motor. Now it went just from 20 to 25. I would order impeller designed for 2hp motor and make custom housing for it. That would make a huge improvement. You are very talented so you can do it :)

You are going to excuse me, but this cannot be that easy, the way you made the holes in the axle by hand is impossible and that it has been perfectly seated and without vibrations, the screw itself that allows you to hold the axle produces vibrations and in the video does not appear... you had to have done something else for it to work

I swapped out my impeller to a larger size and it gained me a fair amount of suction. Going from a 1hp to a 2hp I would think a larger impeller and shroud would make a huge difference.

It is more effective to change the fan than the motor to get more air volume and pressure.

I'm sory but for the cost of a new motor you should have been able to at least upgrade to the 2 hp from harbor freight. Too much work for little return

No no no, don't change the motor, you change the impeller for a larger one and a larger suction hole.

Not worth it just to go from 20 to 25. Those 2HP motors are not cheap.
