I did this to my 2014 Silverado. Mine was a simple bulb replacement, and it’s still working good and bright. Additionally, I cut two holes in my rear bumper and installed LED pod lights with a splice into my backup lights. Now when I back up, I can see everything!

Steve we bought a 2024 GMC Sierra 2 weeks ago, I was just griping about the only lights that weren't LED were the tag lights and how crappy they looked. Now I have a fix for that, thanks bud, they look great. 👍

I just did the same upgrade and my only complaint was how a beam of light on both sides shoots past the bumper on the rear. Outside of that it looks great!
