Having a brighter license plate light is quite helpful at night. I tow a lot and it also helps doing a variety of other tasks in dimly lit situations. If you live in the city where it's never dark, then it's not as helpful.

LED license plate lights also make the backup camera less grainy and more useful at night. Also gives your car a more premium look, previously reserved for BMW, Mercedes and Audi.

Will that Morimoto license plate assembly one fit a 07 Tahoe? I saw the website it said 2000-06 Tahoe only but I assumed it would be the same as an avalanche which was 07-13

ehh, ive tried several LEDs for my 2013 Dodge Challenger license plate, but they dont work. Wondering if it's a load resistor thing, or maybe a bad wiring harness. Do these replacement need\have load resistors?

I have some super bright license plate lights on my 2016 F-150 and it washes out my back up camera at night an makes it hard to see. The mod for that is using a F-250 housing an making the space on the bumper larger. Have these fixed that issue on a F-150 ?

How long do they last? Have a 20 year old truck and all original incandescent bulbs still working. On the road, I see brand new Teslas with one or two LED lights off all day long.

LED license plate lights typically have a much longer lifespan than incandescent bulbs, often lasting anywhere between 15,000 to 50,000 hours, depending on the quality of the LED. That's significantly longer than most traditional incandescent bulbs, which usually last around 1,000 to 2,000 hours or will dim overtime until they eventually stop working. However, the issue you're noticing with newer vehicles like Teslas experiencing LED failures can sometimes be due to factors like poor-quality LEDs, electrical issues, or moisture getting into the light housing, which can lead to early failure. High-quality aftermarket LED license plate lights are often built to avoid these problems by being more resistant to water and dust (with higher IP ratings) and designed for better heat dissipation. For your 20-year-old truck, upgrading to LEDs could provide both longer life and brighter performance, but be sure to choose a reputable brand with good reviews to avoid the problems you've seen on the road. random to this video but can’t get a hold of yeah i got my GTR utra 2 for my Ram 2500 and went ahead and put them on without the module becauseit was shipped different dates I guess lights work good do I still have to put the module in ?!

We would recommend still putting on the PWM, the lights can give you trouble down the road if you don't.

In MOST places blue lights, whether they are flashing or steady burn, are illegal, and not in the "here's your fine, no blue lights" but in a "Sir, you are charged with impersonating a police officer, enjoy your time in jail". Not to mention, with all the anti-police bullshit going on, do you really want to look MORE like a cop?

I never liked overly bright license plate lights, I just replace the oem bulbs with LED bulbs to try and match OEM led license plate lights
