That's what I was googled for. I want yo know if its possible. Ive never used silver or gold clay. But recently bought some gems & have a set design in mind, but want to just beable to add the syone settings to a existing ring

I have seen many videos of instructors using a torch to fire their rings, I have art clay silver and it’s.999 I’m assuming you use .999 but I was to that I had to use sterling silver clay because it needed the hardness. So the ring will be more durable. I have been torch firing all my art clay silver up to 16 g thickness and they have turned out great. Can I torch fire this ring too ? And yes I can make sure the ring is rolled out thick like yours..plz help thank you , Autumn Michelle

As long as you can rotate the flame and give heat entire ring, you can fire it.

How many grams of art clay silver did you use to make this flat band ring?

The finished ring is 5.9 grams, and it was about 10-12grams before filing. Please consider a double amount of clay when you file a ring like the method of this video. Thank you for your question. Please challenge it for your ring making.
