I swapped out both my reverse lights and the license plate lights on my 2020 Silverado from stock to LED. I ended up switching them back to factory bulbs. Why? When backing up in the dark, the new brighter LED lamps work great, but they overwhelm the back up camera in the dash making it too bright and I ended up holding my hand over the screen most of the time. Other than that...they work well and look even better.

Must be a cost thing? But these lights are like $20 and FAR superior so not really sure

Yeah I just recently bought a 2022 High Country and was dumbfounded to realize the reverse lights aren’t LED with it being the top of the line model. I wonder if it has something to do with legality in some states or what not? Will be buying some asap. Great video btw, short and sweet.🤌🏼

I didn't put them in and haven't had any issues! I have seen some guys install resistors with their bulbs though, never a bad idea!

Awesome! The standard bulbs look so bad with all the other leds IMO! Ive been running leds in my house for over a decade. It is odd these are not standard. Do they make ones for the tag as well? God Bless!

You’re not changing your tail lights you’re changing out reverse lights. I think you should rename your video.
