I saw the new features on the Cirrus site, but your demo spotlights it perfectly. It's about time the mechanics in the door-locks were improved and they look great!

The new door does not have to be slammed quite so hard...just pull it toward you and the first latch engages, then push the handle down and it locks. It's also a good idea to not allow the door to open and bounce at the top...just hang on to it till it settles at the top. Carrying the keys inside a pocket or grabbing them from inside a bag can accidentally lock the door..but it's a minor problem.

It seems to require a fair amount of force to operate the positive latching mechanism. Is there any danger that the mechanism could be left unlatched, with the force bending it instead (memories of DC-10 cargo door failure).
