Can't tell for sure, but it looks like it needs a new axle. The rubber parts inside the axle that provide the spring action get compressed over time and stop working correctly. The camper will sit to low at that point making it ride hard as a rock breaking cabinet door hinges and other stuff. Also noticed the polyurethane foam door seal is still there. The polyurethane foam rots after about ten years. Remove that foam and put a rubber door seal on the door. Works much better than foam.

Lots of useful upgrades! I like it! Looks like camper went through many travel experiences through woods and urban areas.

Nice camper. I love the little Scamps. I used to have a 1989 13'. Now I have a 1987 Cadet.

Been thinking about extending the tongue to put a generator box on. This confirms it might be a good move.

AWESOME vid! We have a 19' Hideout that we love, but want less footage for easier dry/stealth camping, as large bathrooms are SO overrated.

Can you provide more detail about the window covers? How do they attach to the windows?

I have the same question! We just got a 13’ scamp and are going to live in it in the Rocky Mountains in the winter and love how you did the window covers.

What do you carry in the rear storage compartment? I've been wanting to add something to the back of my scamp 13 but I was wondering if the extra weight would induce sway on highways.

Sorry for delay. We cary some stuff ( extra drinking water, cables , stuff for for fire and barbecue etc) up to 50-60 kg. In my case it doesn’t effect on driving , cause I have extended drawbar . I made it after many time discomfort driving ( special windy place like Prairie ) It totally changed driving stability to the best.

Do you have an FAA Flight 107 license? If not, I would not suggest uploading drone footage to KZbin. They are cracking down. KZbin is considered commercial, and you cannot share commercial drone footage without having a FAA Flight 107 license. Just registering your drone with the FAA is NOT enough. You need to take a class and then pass a test. You could be fined A LOT of money for uploading Drone footage like this.

What makes you think he doesn't have one? Are you the drone police?
