12:26 you will really do well on some super corsa sp tires. We use them and they are very good.

I'm still waiting for an official spoke wheel set to come out. My next weight saving will definitely be evap-canister...That should shave off a few pounds.

One question, did you change the seat plugs? Doesn't it come off constantly on the 698 mono?

Ride safe, how much more did the rear weight spoked set change, as I guess this would help level out the addition to the front/rear balance etc with the extra 4.4kgs

@@rtbmartin8380 rear spoke wheel was 7.6kg (front was 6kg) with nothing. I shaved 0.6kg using the AEM sprocket- but I don’t have the rear OEM weight size - but your point of balanced weight makes sense 👍🏻

@hypermotardking I really really realllllly want to buy a 698 mono but i also want to go on a 4-5 day tour once or twice a year. Would it be a mistake to buy one? Can only afford to have one bike :( Currently got a monster-r and fancy something lightweight and that I can just go out and have some fun on. Reckon I could pull off a tour on the mono?

@@AAKhanivore Easy mate.. I’ve done 200+ miles in a day no problem with a large rucksack. I’m doing a 7-day Europe tour this summer in the 698 and it’s the kind of bike you need to have a laugh on and enjoy

im my huski the spoke wheels are also a few kilos heavier then the wheels that come in the gasgas 700 ( same bike except 3 parts or so) . im on the fence the other wa around , after buying a 24 tuono last summer and now seeing they updated the 25 model , im torn inetween buying the 25 model or upgrade mine with forged or even carbon wheels . 1st world problems i guess haha . btw i sold my huski 3 months ago and now regret selling it
