Did my first track day last weekend with a 8 hour lesson (combination of riding and theory) and it was the best experience on 2 wheels of my life. First time truly pushing my limits and it felt incredibly addicting.

You nailed it for who it’s for. I live close to the Dolomites and ride there a lot, also lots of other mountain passes in Austria and Italy. This bike is made for exactly that. If you ever ride our part of the world you will see endless KTM’s and Husqvarna’s tearing it up on the steep twisties. These bikes are everywhere whereas the older generation are riding GS’s and other adventure bikes. Ducati know their market here and where this bike is gonna excel. Fast, nimble, lightweight machines rule the alpine twisties!

One of my favorites. The Termignoni really wakes it up and also adds "wheelie assist". So fun and so easy to ride. Its what I take for short trips over my Streetfighter V4.

something to note, this bike NEEDS the exhaust. stock it basically has no low end and struggles in the low rpms, with the exhaust it opens up the low end a ton and makes the bike 10x better

As an owner of this bike I don’t understand why Ducati marketed this bike the way they did. It’s either for someone who wants a supermoto, but doesn’t want to be limited by it being a supermoto. Tall gears, seemingly reliable, all safety features can be turned off, low maintenance intervals. I think of it more for people like me who have other Ducati’s, but want a little fun one also. I live near mountain roads where they are tighter and bumpy AF. This bike is king!

Hi Yammie I know you'll laugh but I own a 1957 Ducati 125cc Marianna - I say this because it's a SINGLE CYLINDER 125cc Bevel Driven engine. So the Mono isn't the ONLY single cylinder from Ducati! LOVE your Channel! Thanks friend come up for a visit anytime.

Love mine, it's hilarious! Definitely a second or third bike in the stable though.

OMG!!! DUCATI? Why are they not going to make a modern SuperMono? I was so excited when I discovered their new 659cc Superquadro single. The tech in that engine is amazing. It is screaming to be installed into a light weight super sport chassis!!!! COME ON DUCATI !!! I would be on the preorder list as of yesterday if they decided to build a 80 hp-ish, sub 135kg supersport. I already have a ZX4rr, but that platform isn't without it's flaws. At least stock, Graves and other aftermarket parts definitely help, but they only go so far. The reality is, the ZX4RR isn't designed around a premium chassis, it has an average chassis with some mediocre factory go fast parts bolted on. The ZX4RR doesn't even have a cassette style trans. How can Kawi call the ZX4RR SuperSport? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my ZX4RR, but it could be way better. If Ducati entered that segment with a premium chassis, a free revving 80hp engine, and an all up wet weight of around 135kg/300lbs, (priced around $10-10.5k) They would sell faster then Ducati could build them. Come on Ducati, you already have the engine, you know how to make an amazing chassis, just build it!!

17:05 Probably because the quickshifters on these engines are merely an afterthought. When was the last time a brand-new single cylinder engine came out?

I’m so confused. Your whole theory about what is this bike for. Um what are sport bikes for. How are sport bikes on the road? LOL uncomfortable seat but way better seating position is way better for road riding compared to being hunched right over. This bike is amazing and if you own one then congrats cause it’s SUPER fun and id way rather ride my mortard than any sport bike and I’ve owned ALOT of sport bikes in the past

If Moto 3 ever goes to a spec chasis/motor in the future, Ducati would be crazy not to jump on the opportunity with this motor in a GP spec chassis! I believe it would be horrible as an ADV/dualsport bike. Too much top end, not enough low down torque. Too nice to abuse in the dirt.

You talk in contradictory circles and its hard to understand ANY of your "Review." For example you go "I'm learning to wheelie still." Then you go "This thing wont allow you to do 12 o'clock nooners." You don't know how to wheelie but you give blanket statements and then mention turning off "DWC"??? You make 0 sense bro......
@vampiresquid6 сағат бұрын
The problem is you. He didn’t say you couldn’t do nooners. He said you couldn’t do nooners “and the computer just does everything for you.” In other words, the wheelie assist makes modest wheelies easier but you still need some skill to really do it well.
