Upgrading local schools in the North of Albania | New Perspectives (Perspektiva të Reja)

In the past five years, IT lessons in the Unified High School "Ali Iber Neza" in Tropojë village were primarily theoretical. Since Swisscontact has supported the establishment of modern IT infrastructure through the New Perspectives project, allowing students to seamlessly integrate theory with practice and sparking their interest in coding for example. The project has invested in more than 10 schools in Kukës region. A modern IT lab and a dedicated career counseling space were established, creating optimal conditions for learning, inclusion and gaining insights into the job market. The investments not only brought new vitality into the schools but also to the entire community, as renewed hope that allows people to stay and thrive in their home town.
The New Perspectives (Perspektiva të Reja) project aims to improve key socio-economic conditions of Kukës County and Dibër Municipality, providing young people with better economic perspectives in their home country.
