Double Blades speed got me to the endgame of the 1st play-through, just because the Sinshengumi bosses are so fast that nothing else worked, but I love the Katana/Spear combination. It can get rid of everything else.

There is also shinobi style for the katana and polearm in the form of hayabusa ryu and gikei ryu. These styles are disadvantaged against all making it a little harder to parry than if you were advantaged against the enemy but you are rewarded by doing significant stagger to the enemy upon a successful parry, no matter the weapon the enemy is using.

It's not by it's master, it's the actual master rank. It will be upgraded fully when you max it. Usually it's just maximum bond with the one you learned the style from.

Counterspark is my main weakness. In Wo-Long, I parried easy but on here it’s brutal with a mistime 😂
