Looks good ! Seats are amazing, wish we had them here in Aus. You're a machine bro, removing the bolt to take off the steering wheel isnt easy... And you just muscled it off. Keen to see the next update!!

For the hard brake you should of just swapped the covers as its just held in by a clip on the bottom. You just pry it up and slide it off. If you pull it all the way up you'll see a small u cut out. Thats the clip holding it in.

@aguycalledjoe7802 once you do the interior a few time you can do all the seat in under half an hour. My first mk5 I had to replace the carpet due to holes under the driver's foot. I do wish we would have gotten this interior in the states.

Yes I am more confident about replacing an interior. You sound like a pro compared to me🤣. Did you guys not get this interior in the States? Did you all not get the Edition 30 over there?

@aguycalledjoe7802 nope we didn't get the edition 30. With my new mk5 I'm building it with a lot of parts off aliexpress so see if it's worth it. The tsi roller conversion foe under 200 is well worth the money, as well as the real carbon fiber mirrors, carbon fiber ebrake cover and the carbon fiber steering wheel. The under body braces are also not bad but the prices now are just about the same as retail here.

Your ed30 looks great To have the draws in the front seats the first owner wanted top specs or it could have been dealership demo ?? I’m going to look for some draws for my mk5. Amazing work, I have an MK5 Jetta with the same exterior color and the same interiors as well I'm planning to upgrade to the same seats, cluster and steering wheel (but for Mk6) you choose and your videos really helped to see how the colors would go together. Thank you Sir 👍🏼

Nice build so far, but wouldn’t it just have made sense to buy an edition 30 in the first place, considering you’ve bought; seats, steering wheel, gear knob, handbrake, wheels, rear valance, rear lights and splitter? Just personal opinion but I’d take the plaque off in case there is an original owner that is missing one and secondly why would you want a plaque for a non edition 30?

It might have made more sense to many people to buy an Edition 30 & it might have been easier as well but I have decided to do my build this way & I am enjoying it. As for the plaque, bro don't take it too serious, it was just a bit of joke really. Appreciate the opinions though🙂.

You have pretty much got what you need there ? The only thing you need now is the ed 30 sill plates for the drivers and passenger door frames. The front seat drawers are quite rare, i’ve been looking for a pair for quite a while.

@andydunn1878 I have been quite lucky to locate most of the parts when I needed them but the Ed30 sill plates seem an impossibility. Oh by the way, my front seat drawers are now stuffed full with supermarket carrier bags🤣🤣.

Still following the build, just bought my KO4 turbo, your edition 30 steering wheel, are the paddle shift extensions stuck on, or the screw on ones, I'm not feeling the ones that stick so if yours are screw on I'm upgrading the steering wheel at least

Hi @sbr1160, my extended steering wheel shifters have tiny screws in them so I can only assume they are screwed in place. They could also have both adhesive & screws but I bought my steering wheel with them already installed so I'm not 💯
