So the reason chameleons need running water to drink is because their eyes move independently of each other. This means they have no depth perception and cant see stagnant or non moving water. This is also why they are not recommended to be in glass cages, they can see the glass! You haven’t mentioned this in any previous videos I’ve seen... It’s not necessarily because the moving water is stimulating or more appealing but simply because they can’t see it otherwise.

This is unreal🥺 I have a 2 year old panther chameleon called Lenny. I’ve been stuck on what to do with his cage for literally months because he has so much spare room and I didn’t want to pierce his cage even more than I have already. The big plant looks like a schleffera actinophylla(though I could be wrong), but they're TOXIC to chameleons! But schefflera arboricola look similar and are a favorite for the lil friends! Again I *could* be wrong but I would feel terrible if I didn't say anything 😔

You are absolutely correct. Its deffinitely the actinophylla. The leaves are elongated downward and not as rounded out like the arboricola.

I know people have already mentioned that plant being questionable - so I’ll add is if it is that plant, someone was saying in a forum that they’ve seen chams (and others) with skin issues from what was believed to be a broken branch or sap - not a 100% sure thing, but he suggested airing on the side of caution ☺️ On another note, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the use of the fake grass as a background ! And overall your enclosure looks soooooo good!!!!! 😍
