Upgrading my Sony A9 to the Sony A7IV ?????

Its been a while since I last posted a video so I thought it was high time I showed my face. I promise to create more videos in the future, you know how busy we all get during a wedding season.
So in today's video Im going to look at my potential decision to move from my beloved Sony A9 bodies to Sony A7IV bodies.

Great video. Hybrid offering is the way forward. You should have seen the looks I got when I suggested it during a lockdown Zoom meeting with a certain Photography Association. When we invested in our 3 Nikon Z6IIs, it was for the video capabilities. I'm retiring soon but at most weddings nowadays, I do 90% Photos and 10% Video and my daughter does 10% Photos and 90% Video (more often than not it is full coverage not just highlights). It seems to work.

Hi Ray. Not used the A9, but long time A7iii user. Just had the A7iv for a week. Not had much chance to use it thanks to the British weather. But from what I've seen so far, it's much better.

Yeah I’ve had a little play with one as another photographer friend has one. Such a well rounded camera. So many positives. If it did silent shooting like the A9 it would be the one camera to rule them all hahaha. Well for those who don’t care about the 4k60 crop hahaha

So do you run around recording video and taking stills all from the same camera? Or do you set them up on tripods and shoot still with another camera ?

same camera. hit record for 2-3 seconds hit stop and take photos again, all whilst keeping the camera up to your eye or using the rear screen.

Hi Ray, another excellent video! What software will you be using to edit/produce the highlights video and how will you be delivering it to the couple? On a USB flash drive?

I’ve had the full Adobe suite for years so premier pro. It will then be digital download via the gallery that houses their photos.
