I've used the same guitar for years. It's had two necks, three bodies and upgraded pickups in that time and sounds and plays like the day it was purchased.

I hate the frets on the classic vibe jazzmaster, i swapped mine out for a 2022 Squier J Mascis neck and the fret board is so dark its pretty much ebony

What is your personal opinion about the original and the fender neck? Better playability or feel?Does it worth to upgrade? i have a CV Jazzmaster and after watching this i felt like i need to try this replacement.

Hey bud thanks for the comment! Personally I did like the feel of the CV neck and the fender PF one feels thinner and very different! It is worth the upgraded if you wanna pay the extra for the neck but also depends if you are bothered if the neck says Squier or you want to show it off as a fender. But deffo keep an eye out on eBay for fender necks they do come up a lot and you can get a decent one! If you wanna know anything else just let me know

There's definitely a hidden cost with these necks. I think most of the replacement necks needs fret end work. It's nice to hear your thoughts the pau ferro neck too. Maybe try some Monty's Relic Wax on it to see if it darkens?

Hey Alex Yeah I watched your video about your Jazzmaster, and what you said about the PF necks I would of loved to get an older neck for it I did try on eBay to get an old fender blacktop rosewood neck but I lost out..so I decided to get that PF one it deffo needs work on the frets as they are shape it does feel thinner than other Jazzmaster necks I have played and I deffo need to darken it to make it look better an I will try and get some of that Monty’s relic wax!

Hey bud the neck is 9.5" Radius and the nut size is 42mm
