I always love how well you do the backgrounds! I'm upgrading my corn's enclosure soon and I'm definitely getting inspiration from you :)

I have a 4x2x2 for my leopard gecko, I think she loves the space because she used to try and climb out of her 2 foot enclosure all the time and now I just see her chilling or exploring. I don’t have a background yet though, I was actually searching for the video you did for Kiwi’s old background for some inspiration and then found this one 😊

I absolutely love both of them! I'm about to order a 4x2x2 for my beardy and would love to eventually upgrade my leopard gecko to the 4x2x18inch and my juvenile crested gecko to the 2x2x2 when he is older! I will just have to upgrade everyone slowly because they are so expensive. I would love to do a naturalistic background for my leopard gecko to give him some enrichment since he can't have loose substrate due to both of his eyes being deformed. I've tried and he just gets it in his eyes and it causes way more harm and hassle than good.

Awww poor baby. I hope he’ll love his new upgrade, along with all of your other animals! Zen habitats setups are addicting and just look so nice stacked up 💕

Next time i would recommend Elastopur (dont know the english name :) ) instead of silicon. It is A LOT easier to apply, it doesn't smell and you can color it with pigments. You can go out and gather some stones to fill the space. You can stick them up to a naturally hide. This way i have ~12 hides in my 120x60 (cm) enclosure. :)

Adore this video! I am nursing a neglected leo back to health (blind in one eye due to Hypovitaminosis A, severely malnourished) and I have been keeping her on paper towel while she gains weight and sheds so I can keep track of her droppings better... But she is doing great! Gaining weight and growing like a pro. Do you think that if she is vision impaired and stunted she would do OK with substrate like yours? I want to give her the best care I can, and she is becoming more curious, but I don't want her to get lost or overwhelmed with a crowded tank and substrate.

Great video as always. On thing I always did when I changed enclosures I used some of the old substrate, and mix it with the new one ,so they have sent in there new enclosure. I find it keeps the stress down. And the Neve knew the were moved to a new enclosure. 🐢🐍🐍🦎

Absolutely stunning! I’m making a naturalistic background for my gargoyle gecko and was wondering how long you let each process cure (spray foam and then silicone)? How many days did you wait before adding the little sweetie to the enclosure?

All of these enclosures are stackable at zen habitats with the use of spacers! Other than that, I used to use a 4x2 rack from Home Depot that was $100

You create some nice backgrounds, but the other sand is safe for consumption, because it’s calcium and won’t Impact their stomach. Which you didn’t need anyway because you attached it to the enclosure.
@reptiliangarden3 жыл бұрын
That’s actually wrong. The calcium sand markets that way, but it’s actually known to cause impaction and is dangerous to use as a substrate. But that’s why it is safe to use for a background.
@bile8973 жыл бұрын
@@reptiliangarden well I’ve used it for ten years with my leopard gecko, and never had a single issue.
