@@tyler4462 it’s exactly what I used. You just have to swap out the left and right brake levers and bleed it. Did you end up with a different set from what I have physically mounted on this bike?
@tyler44623 ай бұрын
@@PatOutdoors Are you saying you left the original calipers on and just used new levers? The brakes on mine have never worked so I was wanting to do new levers, pads/calipers, and everything.
@PatOutdoors3 ай бұрын
@@tyler4462 no I have the full Zoom brake set installed on the bike and rode it after. I’m confused what you were referring to with the caliper supposed to be mounted on the right side. I use this same exact kit on my Razors and my calipers are all mounted on the left side of the bike. It just comes from factory with the right lever activating the rear brake so I swapped them left/right so the left lever activates the rear brake and the right lever activates the front (not like a mountain bike.)

It’s MUCH smaller than the Tuttio. If you’re over 5’4, the Tuttio would be much more comfortable. It also comes with more power right out of the box. Unless you get the 60V or 72V version of the Mototec

Pat, I can't find a motor replacement within budget for this same bike... Can you set me up with some links for a hub motor for this bike? This motor isn't used on many bikes. The E+C kit is a bit pricey for what I want to do. Any opinion or assistance will be great.
@PatOutdoors2 ай бұрын
You may have to just be on Mototec’s wait list.. I have not looked into 12” rear hub motors as it may add too much weight for this tiny bike for it to be any fun. A quality QS hub rear motor may be close to $800 also..

im a little new to this stuff. if i wanted to do a mini emoto, would i be better off buying a mototec and using E&C's upgrades, or getting a bit cheaper razor like a mx500? or should i just save a bunch and get a talaria or smth

oh yea i heard those rawrr mantisx are pretty good for 3k which is what buying a razor or mototec and putting a whole suspension redo and 76v kit would cost me about 3k probably too

Sooo.. I actually own a RAWRR Mantis X, Modified Talaria XXX, and a LOT of different Razors from stock SX500 all the way to modified MX650’s. I would say if you’re not experienced with wrenching or not comfortable enough with wiring AND happen to have the funds for it.. just get yourself a Mantis X (if you like to ride on/off-road) or a Talaria XXX (if you mostly like riding street.) I love all my bikes for different reasons and I enjoy building Razors the most out of all the bikes.. but they’re not that capable off road.

@PatOutdoors3 ай бұрын
I have two SX500's and two MX650's and the Razors definitely have more room for an adult to sit on. Slightly longer DNM rear shock, decent fork, and a set of risers would make it even more comfortable for maybe a 6'er. The MotoTec I think is better suited for 5'9 or below..
