no. just checked mine too, just to see. Are you using the metal diff cups too? I know there was some issues that need modification with the stock diff cups and metal dogbones...

@@NPCRC yeah I have all the upgrades. I ended up drilling a mm or 2 into the outer cups. Problem solved.

@@NPCRC Found that out the hard way, just broke the plastic diff cups after only two days with metal dogbones. I'll be reaching out soon!

Sorry I missed this! A little late but about 75 for all the drivetrain upgrades and 18 for oil shocks. Motor and ESC combo that bound to remote was 60

It's a surpass 2845, 3300kvv. Got a bunch from ali express and tried a couple. This was my sweet spot for the truck, on 3s.

Hi, friend! without a doubt a great educational content in the rc. Excuse me, the redcat volcano 16, hbx 16889 and the blackzon slyder from hpi) are the 3 the same in differentials, driveshaft, dogbones and arms? regards!

All the parts are the same. Only the tires and bodies are different. The stock parts are replaceable on the drive train with the upgraded parts no matter the model and the bodies are all interchangeable as well without doing any modifications

All I did was put a set of aftermarket turf tires on it that were about 3/4 of an inch taller. And it has all sorts of speed now.

Great informative vid thanks! I've got the bezgar model and already has all metal drivetrain /diffs /oil shock etc from Amazon a couple years back but plan to put some brushes power ( solid truck rtr but lack the brushless power/speed) . I guess at the price point it's a tossed up brushless vs hd drivetrain rtr🤷‍♂️ fun and tough as hell that's for sure . It's nice to run some relatively inexpensive and smaller rigs that really offer bang for the buck. Do you know if the wheelie bar fits the redcate/hbx/bezgar 1/16 bashers? Thinking I may very well need it with this green graphene hobbyking lipos! Good stuff 🍻

If the nodel is like the Volcano 16 and Blackzon slyder, then yes on the wheelie bar. That's awesome you got one already loaded. Probably cheaper overall.

Drivetrain is in stock and all that it needs, the brushless combo that pairs with the stock remote is not currently. There was only 3 sets on hand when I set out to make this video and it took about 2 weeks to finish with the pinion issue. So by the time I found out the do pair up, they were out of the 2 in 1 recei ers for the brushless. Hoping to have those in stock in a few weeks time though.

Long time no see man, hope you're doing well. Still looking to get some upgrades for my trmt10e if you still have them or can get them. Wish redcat had something new coming out. Besides the lowriders they have been pretty damn quiet. Have you heard of anything in the works?? They have been surprisingly quiet since the kaiju ext. Wish they would revamp the be6s line as that was one of the best 6s 1/8th scales on the market no doubt

Thank you. Yeah doing well. Started a shop locally in July so just been busy with that. Lost alot of video footage back to back. One with a camera issue and about 3 videos worth of footage that was waiting to be edited, due to a hard drive crash. Got a little frustrated with all that and stepped away for a bit. Redcat has been hush hush about upcoming projects but something is coming in 2023... just not sure what. I too love the BES platform. I wish they would have kept it going... even in the MT8E setup it was still a solid truck. I sell the Vgen from Team Magic still and it I'm one of the best trucks I have in my own collection. Solid platform for sure. Thanks for the support

I'm gonna shoot you a email as I saw that new team magic Ucp racing pick up truck, Aussie RC playground posted pics of it maybe a month ago and was interested in it when it's available. Or maybe a 4s Seth and was curious what their price is. Its around 550 but not sure I was going to bring it in since it was going to be 4S for over 500. Although I imagine it will be a better overall truck compared to other 500+ models like the Maxx! @@NPCRC OK bud sounds good! I just really liked the look of the truck being a truck but yeah $550 is pretty steep. The Seth looks pretty cool too. I Wish redcat would try to get some of these team magics for a rebrand and a cheaper price in the states. I got that team corally sketer and the thing is a 4s beast built with 1/8th scale 6s parts and under $500 so would be tough competition for it for sure. My coworker ran my slyder over with a 10,000 lb trailer and it broke the wheels and wing. Thats it😂. The body cover has a few marks fromthe shock towers and still nothing is bent or broken

I did make one. the audio was messed up on it and it was a windy day... came out like shit and couldn't hear anything I was saying. I will be making another one once the weather breaks and I am going to go 3S on it as I was saying in the video, I plan on changing the combo out for the larger can and trying 3S. The new motor I just installed is 3S and eager to see how that goes. I will be doing one upcoming. Been cold and wet here for past 3 weeks since I got the parts and lipo.

I have the Xinlehong 9130, brushed. It has seen so much abuse. I ran it on 3S, mounted bigger tires on it. Still goes! My daughter has literally slammed it against pavements. If I compare it to the Wltoys A959, total crap. Ok, it can go much faster, but everything is lose on it. It never goes straight after trimming. Cheers! kzbin.info/www/bejne/momVnqefgqeeaLc
