Have the previous model of these, first on just the stock bose amp in my trailblazer, and the difference in quality was immediate. Then onto a soundstream amp, using the built in x-overs for tuning, and there was a bigger bump in quality. Then, I finally got myself a DSP for the SS amp and that took these over the top!! Its only about 80% dialed in at this point and the sound is just amazing. I have 60watts RMS going to them with the DSP and I can go full volume all day without any distorting.

Nice! I’m planning to get the beat sonic power amp coz it’s plug and play hoping to get more out of these speakers, im planning to change my door speakers in the future

Has anyone tried a front speaker upgrade on the 4Runner that has already installed the Cartrimhome heads-up display? I am just wondering if there is clearance.

I asked CTH and they said it will not work with this kind of speaker because of the raised tweeter dome will make contact on the hud panel
