I'm happy for the 3 dogs that beat cancer. Really. But still pissed that in 2019 my cat was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that had already spread between her pancreas, liver, and small intestine. The oncologist said there was no chance any treatment would work, and I needed to do the right thing and have her put to sleep ASAP. I know that quality of life is infinitely more important than quantity of life, and had her put to sleep 2 days later. I was so angry because she had just turned 20 6 weeks before and was in excellent health apart from becoming hard of hearing. I was sure she would make it to 25, since my previous cat lived to 23, and that was after being diagnosed with kidney disease at 18. Life definitely isn't fair, but we already knew that.....

😭😭😭 this is so adorably beautiful and can’t stop crying thinking of my girl 🐶. She died almost 2 years ago 😢 and we were together for 17 years. I just can’t get over her death, she took a chunk of me with her. I lover her and miss her with everything in me 💔. Animals are the best, so smart loving 🥰, funny. Perfection in my eyes.

Animals have so much trust to give. My dog trusts us 100% and knows he can rely on us. You can pretend to try and eat him but he just lays there, belly up and tail wagging. He also has so much trust, someone might decide to sit down next to him and he won't even flinch or shuffle because he knows we won't sit on him (he is tiny btw)

This kind of shit makes me want to hug my dog all the tighter. But he hates that, so I'll hold back. Today I was out working and a woman was walking her dog. She took off the leash so it could find just the right spot to pee, but instead her dog took off running. Straight to me! The little bugger just loved me for no reason whatsoever. But, she stayed with me until her owner caught up. I had a good five minutes with Queenie, an adorable geriatric French Bulldog. She totally made my day!

I feed animals too. They eat so many peanuts that my Dad brings me a new bag every ~3 days or so. I just got a new bag yesterday and it's already half-gone. They eat all the peanuts before I get back to my room. 🐿️
@hollyhayes96402 жыл бұрын
@WackyWoofus Why? (Not being argumentative, just legitimately curious because I don't want to accidentally hurt them.)
@adriennecloeter73942 жыл бұрын
I would worry about nutrient deficiencies if they are eating only peanuts. Also, peanuts are pretty high in fat so they could develop fatty masses/tumors(benign) and other health problems. Although, I don't really know anything about squirrel metabolism and dietary needs so possibly they are fine with just peanuts. And really, as pointed out by others, I would worry most about them becoming dependent on you for food.
@mrinu45202 жыл бұрын
I feed squirrels too and peanuts should never be given, I suggest giving cut apples, bananas, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds

Isn’t it funny how stray or wild animals will trust a hooman enough to bring their babies to visit. I feed a lovely stray cat who must have been owned once because he’s not frightened of us and will come inside and sit on my lap. I opened the back door the other week cos I could see his expectant face pressed on the glass, and Lo and behold he’d brought the family. 4 kittens and mum. I imagine he said ‘okay family let’s go out for dinner…’ 😂😂

6:43 here's the story, I stumbled upon it, well because I am always on the cat side of internet. basically, meet Rosie, she's a sterile cat. The owner found the black kitten on the streets and gave it to Rosie for her to adopt. This was her reaction :)

2:40 That's an American Bully, not a pit bull. The picture is still adorable, though.
@cshelp232 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by american bully?
@blueflare38482 жыл бұрын
@@cshelp23 An American Bully is a companion breed that was developed in the 1990s. While they do come from pit bulls, other breeds were mixed in to develop this breed, hence why they aren't referred to as pit bulls. Bullies have their own breed standard and were bred for a different purpose. They even come in different sizes (the one in the video looks like a pocket Bully). Referring to a Bully as a pit bull would be the equivalent to calling a pit bull a bulldog (pit bulls came from the old English bulldog, but they're still terriers, not bulldogs). The goal of the Bully was to get the best traits from the pit bull (the loyalty, the outgoing and friendly nature, the eagerness to please, etc.), but without the same likelihood for dog aggression. As such, both human aggression and dog aggression is extremely uncharacteristic for this breed. The biggest difference between the two physically is that Bullies are very stocky. They're broad-shouldered and muscular. They have the same square head as a pit bull, but it's much larger in size. Pit bulls are more of a lean muscular, and their heads are smaller and seem to be a bit narrower. Sorry this got so long. I'm very passionate about these breeds and have done a lot of research on them. I'm always eager to educate people who want to listen!

Breeding dogs is what leads to their health problems.
@blueflare38482 жыл бұрын
@@cruisepaige What are you talking about? I never mentioned anything about health issues. Regardless, breeding dogs isn't inherently bad. Responsible breeders actually care about the well-being of their dogs. They breed for good health and tempermant and many aim to improve the breed as a whole. Backyard breeders and puppy mills are despicable. Those are the ones that should be shut down.
@adriennecloeter73942 жыл бұрын
@@blueflare3848 Not trying to contradict you here, but I will say that pitbull is often used to refer to bully breeds and pitbull mixes in general. Also, is it even possible to breed aggression out of dogs? This far along into domestication I think aggression is due to human influence and individual temperment rather than breed genetics. Any dog can be trained or poorly socialized and become aggressive. For example, German Shepard dogs used to be considered an agressive and dangerous dog breed and there were movements to ban them like with pitbulls now. You don't hear people talk about them like that now because pitbulls became the cool dangerous dogs to have. So people who wanted an agressive dog got pitbulls instead of GSDs and trained them to be aggressive. This also has to do with dog fighting. Because pitbulls are athletic, stocky and have a strong bite they have been used for dog fighting and thus gained the perception of being aggressive and dangerous, which in turn makes them more likely to be chosen to be trained to be agressive. Anyways, thanks for listening to my rant about how there's no such thing as an aggressive dog breed. (except maybe chihuahuas lol)

The first one is extremely sad The golden retriever is named Daisy, and she had lost all of her puppies in a barn fire. Her owner kept seeing her looking for her puppies in the wreckage, and reached out to see if there were any puppies to give to Daisy to adopt. The puppies she has in the picture had recently lost their mother, and wouldn't have made it, if not for her owner adopting them ,and giving them to her. May they meet again in Heaven...

That last snake makes no sense. Snakes are cold-blooded; they can't generate heat in their bodies so the "sweater" is useless. Furthermore, it now can't move because its scales have nothing to work against except the "sweater" so it will soon be out of the useless covering.
