Whenever I do lower trap activation exercises I find it very hard to raise my arms high, what can I do to help?

videos from back in the day, videos of randoms who don't even train at a box, videos of games athletes during competition... sure you can call bad lifts all you want but if you think that's how Crossfit actually is, then you're an idiot.

TenguAlpha It seems to be highly unregulated. They allow anyone to become a trainer. The elgin videos are from so-called boxes... I've met people that practice this "art" and cannot do a proper gymnastics kip. Thankfully, there are some former gymnasts teaching.

No they don't. Anyone can take the CFL1 course but it doesn't mean you're gonna pass just the same as any other personal trainer course. You can't coach without at least a CFL1. You also wont pass CFL1 as a nobody off the street, you need at least a year or two actually doing Crossfit so you have the range of motion and the ability to do the movements yourself. That means training under other coaches first.
