It's not only overwork..there are so much politics in office just to entertain manager,senior ,head and rest of all employees..all of them harassing,mentally torturing, any single employee who is mostly either have no experience,or freshers ..all these happens to please either manager or senior manager or head to create intimidating environment,to satisfy their ego frustration etc and in most of the cases these managers,senior managers or head any one of them belong south india or state like karnataka,tamilnadu,Kerala,gujrat then all these have to have in company and those who don't want to participate in harassing,bulleying then will thrown out of the company..and all these things happen to satify the ego,frustration and create intimidating factor but they will call it we disciplining her or him so it's like 100 of PPL harassing bulleying any oner person who is fresher..these kind politics cause loss to company comparing to those manager who dont do politics but their ego is so big that they will have to do ot to satisfy their ego n frustration even after loss..these media PPL r not talking abt politics which is causing the death of thousand of employees everyday either they r stupid enough to not to know about all these politics in corporate or they r scared to speak about

One of my good and kind senior was facing issue with manager behaviour. When he escalated it to HR. Then that HR forwarded it to manager to take it back and he was forcefully made to resign😢😢. Hope my senior is doing good now.

Quality 8 hours sleep should be mandatory for every human being. This should be the basic right. Government should put cap on long working hours to 10. Otherwise corporate world will gulp human lives of poor and middle class. Rich people and management position holders can put longer hours of efforts as they don't do the actual work. People who do actual work need justice. Making people do the work and micro management for over 10 hours is still possible just like watchman in the building.

The main reason is companies have less employees and lot of work and manager want less people to complete more and more work in given time and paying less to employees and paying huge packages to the CEO. Why these companies don't hire more employees when there is a lot of work. Only one thing can change this pay hourly basis. The companies think monthly salary is a new way to exploit.

The very fact that EY India Chairman Rajiv Memani offers delayed response and does not even bother to express sorrow and convey condolences to the family shows how inhuman and shameless he is, who can only be described as Disgrace to Humanity. It is also very clear that he may have threatened EY Employees not to attend Anna's funeral thats the reason no one from EY attended funeral. The Corporates in India as part of their Social and Community Service should ban EY and teach them a lesson so that in future the employees are not victimised. My deepest sympathy and condolences to Anna's Family and May Her Soul Rest in Eternal Peace

Work pressure, nepotism and favoritism are in corporate environments/private companies is very common phenomenon and not a new thing. Education institutes/colleges should give training for STRESS MANAGEMENT and MENTAL HEALTH apart from curriculum. Employees mental health as well as physical health are important for work life balance. 99% Employers are focusing on finance capital and they never focus on human capital because there is abundance of unemployed educated persons in India. There are abundance of labour laws and policies in India; but it is just like scare crow not in practice. Government also depend upon private companies/players. Government should do safety measures for employee’s working hours, conditions and stringent in the enforcement of our existing labour laws.

Why in India the unemployment is too high because for 10 peoples work the organisation employs one person. Secondly after covid the working time has become 24x7, 10 to 12 hours in office and rest in work from home. This issue is not only in corporate sector it is in almost all field of work. We must have a judicial committee in the similar way Hema committee in Kerala to study work stress in every area of work. Some of the educational institutions the amount of work stress is beyond imagination. It is time for government to wake-up on the issues of people rather than wasting time on unwanted issues.

Anyone doing any type of work should not be more than 10 hours / day. Earlier before 2000 continuous work was on Physical stress, it was Much manageable doing and taking rest helped. It started growing and turning into mental stress… First 10 years till 2010 moderate , then faster 2015 - after that Drastic growth of IT sector it’s effects attacking other sectors which means make you sit and Crush your Brain… May be nice for Elon Musk but not normal Humans. Who is benefiting from making employees over work, it is the employers ; it is time some fundamental changes are made in many areas : No schools, educational institutions, offices both private and government, factories, construction etc should work on Saturdays and Sundays Free education, free medical care, universal pension, unemployment allowance, food subsidy for the poor should be made available ; no hurry to become large economy ; compulsory family planning is a must ; any family having more than two kids, should be banned from voting and all government benifits and employment opportunities in government should be banned ; religious conversion should attract severe punishment, besides confiscating their properties Land reforms act should be reintroduced where no one individual can own more than 2 acres ; excess land owned by community driven institutions should be taken back
