I always loved how much Steve still cares about Alan. A lot of actors who've played iconic characters have said it can become an albatross but Steve always seems to work so hard whenever he brings Alan back and finds new ways of presenting him to the world as Alan gets older. This series was my favourite, went completely under the radar for most of the British comedy audience but I loved the stripped down feel of it

If you watch the series back and know what to look for, you can tell it's heavily edited. Still, good how they can make it seem like all one shot. Funny show.
