iI don't really know a lot about tech so I could be wrong. but it kind of looks like you installed the motherboard with the pc straight on the carpet aren't you not supposed to do that because you generate static electricity on carpet? Then when you installed the other parts you raised it on a small table but your still on a carpet.

Great comment, it's actually a bit of a debate all round. There certainly was a time when any carpet contact was considered bad, but components seem fairly static-resistant nowadays. I did touch a metal radiator quite regularly (to help reduce static build up) and was careful not to drag my legs across the carpet much, but I could have been more careful - especially at the initial mobo stage you're right. Great point, it's good to remember static risks 🙂

If there's one thing I've taken from your videos... You're pretty cheap, aren't you? No offense, but I find it kinda funny! I too went with RGB RAM simply because it was cheaper, but I would've never gone with a white PSU! Shame for not going with the smiley face pattern... Honestly it would've most likely been fine! Build looking good in the end! Okay, it doesn't look very pretty with that PSU and Noctua fan but... It looks good from the front!

LOL all round, and yes you're right about the cheap element - heh. I do like the RGB RAM to be fair, but I now regret the PSU purchase. It was more of an impulse buy and a bit of a 'swing and a miss'. Ah well! Thanks, glad you liked the build (minus the chocolate fan 😅)

2:28 ah yes, the calm before the storm. This video came at quite the coincidental time, since I'm just about to upsize my sister's PC (the burden of being the family tech support, right?). Always enjoy having longer videos like this play in the background while in the middle of something.
