Only two minutes in but I have to stop and comment. Grew up in NYC but went to UB and lived on the north side while I was there. I noticed the biggest difference between our two cities is that the poor people in Buffalo are trapped. Your trains don't take you to where the good jobs are, the buses stop running at early hours and if by some blessing you manage to get a car cops wait at speed traps to catch you around every other corner. NYC is more chaotic but it's a lot easier for us to make it out of our situations than it is for y'all. I even have a crazy story about a freshman I knew getting locked up and not being able to call outside the 716 area code.... the kid was from Long Island... it was 2-3 weeks before his parents found him and then the school tried to kick him out before he was convicted (charged with a bs crime they made up on the way to the precinct off campus). I could go on but couldn't we all? I feel for you guys P.S. Buffalo felt like they took Queens, made it cold af and filled it with people from the south

These foreigner's come, and have Gov grants provided to them to establish a little wealth for their communities. They tend to invest in liquor stores, nail salons, gas stations, corner stores, Dunkin Donuts etc… blacks are black balled, and redlined/restricted from getting Gov grants or have to work 3ox harder than the average person to get a business loan to even start a business

Im originally from Brooklyn, But lived on the lower westside. We have 5 different projects in a row. Lakeview in which they changed it into plush homes still the same people. Maryland Towers still the same Maryland Homes they just painted the buildings, The Red Houses Still the same and Shoreline and Pine harbor In which they are turning them in to nice buildings. but it's all Black and Ricans.

you need to find a way to package your talent; as a theater producer; i think to myself dialogue could be written around the rap numbers and you could make this into a hip hop stage play; things like that; also every rapper talks about the same thing; how much creds they got on the street; and they lead the street life; you have to find a way to personalize that and also to write about diffrent topics ; everyone writes about how rought the streets are and how they are rough in the street life; you need to stand out to do something that is different

Buffalo NY ain't even all that bad like that. I mean it's bad but not ridiculously bad. Cites like DC, Baltimore, Richmond VA, Milwaukee, and my city St Louis are way worse. Buffalo not really looked at as murderous city forreal. The only people who think Buffalo is SUPER dangerous is people from Buffalo.

It’s a reason why Buffalo is consistently on the FBI’s Most Dangerous Cities list. The homicide rate is high per capita but low in total compared to other cities with bigger populations. Our crime rate is very high. There are other cities that are more dangerous all across the board, hell I’ve been told by St. Louis ppl that your city is something wicked. It’s all unfortunate.
