upTOP Overland TRUSS Retrax Bed Rack Install | MOUNT your RTT

Welcome back for another upload here! This install consisted of getting the upTOP overland mid height Retrax bed rack installed on the raptor . This install process should be similar if not the same on all makes and models. This rack allows to use the modular Retrax bed cover with T slot rail system to maintain a usable bed cover and bed rack for your RTT or other accessories.
Huge shout out to upTOP overland for the amazing ship time and build quality on this racks. Remember they also offer other bed rack options for whatever setup you are trying to run!

Nice video and love the setup! I’m sharing a pop up camper and will be using a setup like this with a tent when not using the camper. How heavy is it, and if you need to remove it, is it just loosening the base and sliding it off? Thanks for posting the video!

Nice setup Steven…have you consideried mounting the water tank on the inside of the rack instead of outside if you haven’t modified it yet? The uptop racks have so many options to mount things while being aware of static & offroad weight distribution and restrictions .

Super clean set up. How is your set up holding off road with all your overlanding gear mounted on it considering it’s all being held on the tonnaue cover?

Nice, do you regret getting the shorter version, or do you prefer the long version so that there are no gaps in between the cab and the tailgate

I have since moved on from the Tacoma all together, however I'm sure this setup would still be going strong.

where the carriage bolts long enough from the roof nest factory to mount to this rack, or did you need to buy longer ones?

Hey, would you be able to measure the distance between the top and bottom bolts for the armor plates? I have the low height which came with different plates, want to see if these will fit!
